Nice pubs too. They have one of the better Spoons that I've been in.
As I'm typing this I've not long finished work and am currently sitting in the rather quaint Punch and Judy watching the Villa v West Brom play-off semi-final.

Of course I was forgetting that around the time I posted this time last year we were involved in the play-offs so it would have been later I now agree.
Going to Plough Lane may be interesting.

Apart from the matches against the Bobbins for the Tom Fuller Trophy, I cant remember a PSF that was particularly entertaining. In the old days the big clubs would send down teams with a smattering of stars, not any more. I only go to see who the new players are and because AB ropes me in to sell season tickets! Dos tried "The Borough Cup" sponsored by the local Guardian IIRC as a PSF thing but even then it didn't really grab anyone

Bloody typical! I go on holiday the day before we play Redhill - which is just down the road from me.
Away to Havant on 20th July and then home/away SCR.

Sadly i can't go to the Havant game as i'm in Greece. Nice to see Sutton play in Redhill but two matches against Combined Counties opposition !

Away to SCR won’t help attendance, goes from a game available on season ticket to all pay

My only question, why so many away games?

My only question, why so many away games? I think it's because home friendlies don't make much, if any, money as we have to pay for stewarding and National League standard officials and the gate money and bar takings barely cover the costs.

Are we doing any groundwork on the pavillion which impacts on our ability to stage a home game for those dates ?
