As an aside, I'll be keeping an eye out for Alton and wishing them all the best, as a club they were excellent on Saturday, before, during and after the match and in a subsequent email from their Chairman. Likewise. Conducted themselves superbly all day TBH. Spoke to a few of their party at various times during the day and they were nice people. Afterwards chatted to a few in the car park as I was leaving, they seemed genuinely shocked at the result themselves! Fair play to 'em. I too will keep one eye out for their progress. There's a few in the Ryman Prem who could take note.....

I hope their guy that got carted off to hospital was ok. He probably had no idea they won.

Something to cheer you all up. Fast forward to 9 minutes though the disallowed goals are funny!

I'm down in Hampshire visiting my parents, who take the local paper - the Alton Herald! This afternoon I braced myself and read their match report, and as I did so thought that the words seemed oddly familiar. The paper has published an edited version of Sutton's own website report, albeit with some introductory paragraphs added. So our Press Sec can take pride in his prose being reproduced by the Alton Herald's sports editor.
