Penalty after around 5mins for Cray. Handball by Downer (if I remember correctly) and a deflected strike from Karl Murray squaring things up. We haven't really got started yet, just lots of aimless hooding and last ditch defending. The ref is having an interesting game. Lots of odd decisions and seemingly happy to let Cray time waste from the minute they took the lead.

Dire. Not good enough. Also completely brain dead. Smashing long balls up to Jolly all game is not going to work against anyone, never mind a team with 2 towering and dominant centre halves.

Certainly the worst Sutton performance i've seen this year. 2nd half especially poor with the exception of the first 2 mins. What makes its more disappointing is not just fact that I know we can play better than this, and there was no real reason why we played this badly. Scriven aside, I don't think any player played to the level they are capable of today, but it was more the fact thatwe were not playing as a team. We can't blame the conditions, the opponents (who were not a bad side but really shouldn't have been that hard to break down), or injuries (we were only missing Dundo).
No complaints about the penalty, its probably the most blatant one we will give away all season. We had some chances, but nothing really to write home about, but it was the number of balls we give away which had me. It was far too kick and rush. The ref was a bit rubbish, but then that shouldn't be used to excuse what was a poor team performance.
Play like that on Tuesday against the in form team in the division and we will be punished. Lowestoft drew at Hastings, although they had 2 players sent off. Kingstonian unsurprisingly beat Croydon 4-0 in front of a massive combined crowd of 199. Looks like their wonderful amazing travelling support can't be arsed to travel the 8 or so miles to see their team win.

I'm not surprised Lowestoft got to Hastings late. The A21 was closed after a massive crash this morning. Not a mention on the traffic reports though despite miles of queues

Yep the performance was actually woeful, although you have got to give credit not only to Kev but the rest of the back line who cannot be blamed in anyway as they are doing league winning performances week in week out.
Not just today but for a while now we lack a midfield someone to put their foot on the ball, I did not count 2 passes in the middle all afternoon, and at no time did we control the game. We just seem to bang constant long balls up field and hope someone gets on the end of it and today without Dundo our frailties really showed. I don't think we got a single cross in from the byline and when Bradley went off we lost our width altogether, the thing is every time we take him off the same thing happens, so why do it? With just 15 goals our forwards are under performing, they should have 25 by now!
The ref was somewhat unpredictable, I did not see the penalty incident so cant comment.

Hmmm so a legitimate reason for the lateness, I'm sure the Ryman league will take that into consideration...........

Seen from twitter that we only had 3 subs and none of them are capable of changing a game. Our squad is missing depth.

Performance was poor, but we didn't lose, which I suppose is a bonus. We need to imporve big-time ahead of Tuesday against a rapidly improving Tonbridge side.
Edited to add, I felt really sorry again for Richard Jolly, the guy works hard upfront, set our goal up but gets poor service and support. Still he should of buried that chance not long after we equalised.

Defo handball. The ref was odd and very whistle happy and he and the linos missed loads of pushes by their front players especially in the first half. I didn't think I'd see 3 players shorter than Danny Phillips in a team!
