Croydon had three good chances on the break, they spent the rest of the half with about 6 or 7 men in their own box defending for all they were worth. So we may not have been fluent and didn't create as many clear chances as we should have, but the first 45 minutes was still essentially one-way traffic, so I have to disagree with some of the comments above. Croydon had to cave in eventually and when they let in one we made the game safe. Leagues aren't won with 5-0 margins every game and 3-0 away from home is always worth taking.

Definitely a goal. Not not by much but it was over. What surprised me was how the linesman was sure enough to give it as my view of the bounce was unobstructed by the goalpost being in the way whereas I would have thought the post would have obstructed the linesmans view enough for him to give no goal. Good goals though and you can't argue with being top. Brilliantly there was a lad at the tram stop who was on the phone to his mate and absolutely raving about BWG's goal. Anybody within a mile of Therapia Lane tram stop now knows about it

How anyone can make a sensible judgment based on that youtube clip is beyond me. It proves absolutely nothing.
My only argument was that the ball hit the underside of the bar and the trajectory in which it came out suggested it was just over. Again hardly a convincing argument though.
I thought the Croydon youngsters did very well last night & I was impressed with their two full backs, particulalry their no 2 who seemed to have alot of pace and good positional sense. They defended like lions at times and considering they are playing for nought their attitude deserves much applause.
The 3-0 scoreline while reflecting the way the match went in terms of attacking play, probably does not reflect the whole 90 mins. MOm for me, Dundo. Considering how little he has played recently he was excellent and was victim of a crude challenge that, to me, warranted more than a yellow card, their fellow just kicked him.
We will need to improve on Saturday & look like we will be without Sam Page. Somebody will have to marshall Hockton who has been in rich scoring form recently.
Another 3 points, another clean sheet, an away win & top of the league once more. I'll take it!!

Two very frank and honest interviews there - Dos is right, we are not playing well at the moment but find ourselves on top, and Garland, who quite rightly is proud of his players. Putting aside the whole legal side of the Croydon situation, its no fault of Garland or any of the playing staff, and they really are trying. I wouldn't be upset if they avoided relegation through hard graft.

As I said, trademark: "He said perhaps the most memorable gig was watching him in his home time of New York just a few weeks after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

3-0 is 3-0 i suppose and 3pts is 3pts as well!
I think that was Croydon's biggest attendence of the season so far?

I can't be sympathetic towards Croydon.Didn't they gain promotion last season by employing some very good players which based on attendances their wage bill would not be sustainable?Did another team not miss out?
