With Ks not playing in the league ths week, and Lowestoft's match v Billericay called off (waterlogged pitch, I gather) tonight presents a great opportunity for Sutton to take a real grip on the league leadership.
We know that Harrow are a decent attacking side, but not the strongest in defence. We'll be missing Downer and (probably) Page, so I hope we just go for it as we did on Saturday.

Bury and Cray both have the chance to go 2nd if they beat Canvey and Tonbridge respectively. Other games to keep an eye on are Bobbins V Wealdstone, which a Bobbin win could see them back in the play offs with games in hand, Horsham V Maidstones relegation clash, and to see if Tooting can bounce back from the 5 -0 drubbing at the weekend as they travel to AFC Hx

Long term I see Tonbridge as more of a threat than Cray so would happily see a reversal of that despite current positions.

It hardly seems worth getting the goalposts out when Sutton play away.

So excluding tonight's game.. in our last 3 away league games.. we've scored 8 goals.
I totally agree with you Billy, waste of time getting them goalposts out!

Correct but in 6 out of the other 8 away games Sutton United have registered a grand total of one goal.

Poor game on a sticky pitch. We never really looked like scoring tonight and it was a bit of a physical battle in the middle of the park.Still another point gained.

Yes - a disappointing match, rather like our 0-0 draw at Earlsmead two seasons ago (also on a chilly Tuesday night). There were too many aimless long balls forward, and on the odd occasion when we did create an opening none of our players was able to get a decisive touch. Their keeper had an easy time while Scrivs had to make a few smart saves.
Still, an away point isn't a bad outcome and we're still three points clear - though Bury Town (who beat Canvey 2-1 tonight) are now in second place. Ks are a point further back but now have two games in hand.
