You win nought on paper, unless you're playing 0's & +'s, Battleships, etc. The RP has become a highly competitive league. Currently, there appears to be an obvious bottom 5 & a few other clubs struggling to get regular wins. But the top 12 all would fancy their chances for a play-off spot and a few less the title itself.
Looking at form team Harrow's squad, not too many of them have great pedigree but they are ripping up trees at the moment. To say this league lacks quality is harsh. Of course it isn't as good as the BSS (it bloody well ought not to be) but it is very, very competitive & we dismiss any of the current top 12 (promoted club or not) at our peril.

How you can compare a squad on paper at this level is beyond me! I would have thought the squads at Bury and Lowestoft have as much if not more 'pedigree'. Just because I don't recognise the names doesn't mean anything. Would have thought being favourites pre season was more to do with our form in the 2nd half of the last one and finishing 2nd.

I'll stick my neck out and say we will win convincingly at Bury.

Frakey is right, if you look at the "predicted final league table" on the Football Web Pages site, it "predicts" that Lowestoft won't concede another goal all season ! Does that mean that the rest of the league will say to their forwards "don't shoot" ! The old addage of taking each game as it comes certainly seems to apply this season, and anything is possible in this league this season, you only have to look at the results in the past few weeks since the "enforced" break !
