The switch will actually have minimal impact. As others have said, we only have one scheduled home match in the evening, and that's early in the season. With the artificial pitch in place we should suffer few - if any - postponements of home games, so the only other Monday night matches will probably be SSC ties and perhaps one or two FAC/FAT replays. Plus any games knocked out of sync due to FA/FAT involvement.

If the club management thinks Monday nights are best that's good enough for me. Why on earth would decisions of this type be referred to the supporters?

If the club management thinks Monday nights are best that's good enough for me. Why on earth would decisions of this type be referred to the supporters? Because a minority of people feel that in this modern day they should be able to consult, and usually complain, about everything, and usually without anything constructive to say. I couldn't agree with you more - whilst we may not agree with EVERYTHING the board and management do, I've certainly got enough faith in them to do the right thing. Anyone who thinks that as a supporter they need to be consulted for everything the club does really is living in a dreamworld.
