Starting to get exciting now the Trophy. Creating an 'event' on Facebook for the game might be a good idea to try and get a few more people along, and hopefully convince them to come back

I haven't really felt we have had the opportunity to be excited about the Trophy since we played Wrexham. I'm loving this

For the younger fans like myself who haven't ever seen us in the Conference Prem the Curzon game is practically a European tie!

I was just guessing that any replay would be on a Tuesday as most are. Ok its still a long way to go whatever night it is !

I would be willing to bet that we would take twice as many to Curzon on a weeknight as they will bring on the Saturday however.
They had 121 attendees at the last Trophy game they played against Marlon Harewood's Nuneaton..

I have friends in the northwest and they say Curzon Ashton, righty so are taking the match very seriously, the team are staying overnight on Friday near to us & they expect to bring about 25 'noisey' supporters .. Should be a good en !!! Come on you u's!!

Its not that far for some people I may be one of the few who would be happy if the game went to a replay...I can get to Ashton in about 35 minutes. Question...when was the last time Sutton were drawn or played away in the NWest in one of the 2 major cup competions?

In terms of the trophy I don't think it's ever actually happened away. We of course played Bangor in 81, but that's Wales really!
We did play Warrington Town in the 92/93 trophy run that got us to the Semis

Yes however the Warrington Town game was at home though... and if it we draw them away sometime in the future, i will only have a 5 minute walk to get there!!

I think we should include the Amateur Cup in that question... I reckon that would be Prestwich Heyes a week before we played Leeds Utd. The last time we played a Manchester based club too l believe.
