At the time of writing only 3 London boroughs have no TfL rail services (Underground, DLR, Overground, Tramlink etc). In 2018 one of those boroughs will get Crossrail. Which will leave two London borough without any TfL services. One of them is Sutton and the other is Kingston.

That's a thought provoking post os, maybe we need a Radio Sutton? We did apply for a FM community license back in 2008 but was unfruitful, then attempted to join forces with radio marsden after their last RSL when ofcom reopened the applications in 2013 i think, but sadly it never happened. the problem was and still is finding enough people to get involved, and to meet the running costs, even for an online station you need to pay singers and songwriters royalties and associated licenses. FM license is not an option now for another good few years as i think the spectrum is fully booked around the region, but online is always an option. but the fact that community radio does not actually turn a profit puts people off of wanting to try.
