Forest Green went through to the play-off final after their 1-1 draw last night (winning 2-1 on agg) so we'll renew acquaintances with Dover again next season. Likewise Braintree. Grimsby beat them 2 0 aet

Being the home side in a playoff games this year (especially in the case of Truro whose visitors came midweek from 330ish miles away) is not offering the perceived benefit it should do, looking at the Vanarama leagues this year (admittedly a small sample but the top two levels of NL football nonetheless) the playoff semi final matches produced the following number of home wins:
National League: 0 North: 2 South: 1
Are away teams in playoffs going for it more than the home side who feel the pressure?

I reckon it just means this time round the away teams did better than the home teams in the Conference play offs.

I reckon it just means this time round the away teams did better than the home teams in the Conference play offs. Fair point, last year gave us the same number (3), previous year 6 as was also the case in 2012/13. So maybe in the next two years there won't be any at all
