To quote Charlie Brooker "If the internet gave free back rubs, people would complain when it stopped because its thumbs were sore"

The key here is simply to win our matches, if we beat Ebbsfleet we can take the title at home to Chelmsford barring a massive win for Fleet and a massive defeat by us on the final day. Irrespective of any 3pt deduction.

Briefly it says that Sutton meet the FA tomorrow for an initial hearing. It goes on to say that should we be docked 3 points & not win the league that we have a top sports lawyer lined up to fight the case.
I however believe strongly that we will take the required 3 points and make this all irrelevant !

It wasn't on there at the end of last week when I looked No it wasn't, the last entry when I looked late on Friday night was for Friday 8th April, so it seems that whoever updates the FA's website hadn't or doesn't "update" the Disciplinary Page until a Monday .........unless he's had an administration error him /herself lol

The website says the charge is for breach of (x) "A player subject to a temporary transfer must not play until such transfer has been authorized by the Association"
That sounds a bit wishy washy, it doesn't specifically state how that authorization shall be communicated back to the club, or, exactly who "the Association" shall be in this context

This at least confirms that the (alleged) breach was of the FA's rules, not - as some of us thought - the National League's.
From what I've heard, somebody at the club omitted to fax the relevant papers to the FA before JS appeared for us on 5 March. (Surely the club's allowed to make a mistake on its birthday?)

I am wondering whether it should be the responsibility of the National League to pass on the application to the FA, and then wait for the FA to respond, before authorising such a transfer.

The hearing went well and it is hoped that a firm decision will be made either Friday or Monday next
