Nice to see people getting into the spirit of it now!
There probably won’t be too many more nominations for the top goalkeeper (I can only think a couple more that might deserve to be nominated), so I propose to put up a poll on Sunday night, allowing perhaps 7 days for voting.

Do it then! You don't need to propose, I believe you can add a poll so feel free to (you may need to do it on a PC or scroll to the bottom and select "desktop version")

In saying that I propose to put one up on Sunday night, it was more a case of stating a time limit on nominations. It's only right and proper!

It's been a while since I posted on here, I know there's a number that rather that I wasn't involved in the club, and I've stayed away from the Lane for a while for personal reasons that I don't wish to go into detail about (although I may come along for the Yeovil game). Nonetheless, I spent most of the last decade down at GGL, and I go for the following:
GK: Jamie Butler
DF: Simon Downer DF: Jamie Collins DF: Charlie Clough DF: Aswad Thomas
MF: Harry Beautyman MF: Craig Eastmond MF: Nicky Bailey
WING: Roarie Deacon WING: Tom Bolarinwa
CF: Maxime Biamou
Like others, there's about 30 I could add to the subs bench, so I won't do any of them the misfortune of being left out, but I'll pay special tribute to Worns, Scrivs, Dundo, Lafayette (especially for Wrexham away), Tommy Wright and Wishart.

Isn't that part of the point? If you can't remember them, they wouldn't have made your team of the decade anyway! Surely you can remember 11! Andy i'm dreadful with names and as you know so many players have come and gone. Yes i can obviously remember 11 but i notice from the players selected so far most of them have been recent additions. So far there are also players we had who have gone on to play in the Championship and not got a mention. Del, who are the Championship players you’re thinking about?

I may be a division out but didn't Stefan Payne play for Barnsley 16/17 and Kyle Vassell play for Rotherham in 2018 ?

It will be interesting to see how supporters would rate such players when choosing their team of the decade. Some of our players have made well over a hundred appearances for us, but at lower levels than where we find ourselves competing now. Having had the majority of their careers with us, would be seen as true Sutton players. Others like the ones you mention have made 10-20 appearances but moved higher up the leagues, so "better" players. In fact the two you mention have played for so many clubs this decade (12, and 16, I think) they might not merit being in the team of the decade for any of them.

I assume that’s Jason rather than Seb!
Think I’ll nominate Scrivs. A very good, reliable keeper who deserves to be in there for consideration.
I’ll create that poll this afternoon, probably after the Arsenal v Chelsea match, so if anybody has any late suggestions, do chip in.
So far we've got Butler, Worner, Brown and Scrivs.
