Looks very much like the game tomorrow is going ahead.
Haven't heard what injuries we still have but i guess that Coby will line up with Louis at the back as Ben hasn't played in a while.
Let's hope we can get the season off to a good start.

I suspect some serious lessons were learned from the away game vs Dorking, and that any mistakes made there won't be repeated at our ground.

Am I being a bit stupid? - I've purchased my "ticket" and got a log in password, but I cant see what to and how to log in. I only watched the free live streams in the preseason. Will there be a link that appears on the website prior to kick off. What facility is there to report technical issues if the log in doesn't work etc etc.

Hi, just go the home page www.suttonunited.net and click on the big yellow banner at the top of the page where it says watch live. Then just enter your code and the email address it was sent to. (the code is unique to that email address) I suggest not doing it until you are ready to watch as sometimes people have logged out and had trouble re-connecting. |

Getting back to the match. I always get butterflies more for the first match of the season than any others. I am not feeling very confident ( but then I am always a pessimist at heart, i still think we will struggle to score goals,( as last season Woking aside) we don't possess a big target man and clinical finisher. On the other hand we don' t tend to ship many goals so i think we will get some 1-0 wins a few low score draws and often lose 2-1.

According to the match preview, there'll definitely be a reshuffle at the back, with Louis and Ben both unlikely to play, necessitating a new addition to the back four today, ex-Dover's Aaron Simpson... www.suttonunited.net/maidenhead-preview-squad-update-and-latest-from-matt/I'm quietly optimistic about today's game. Matt got off to a flying start last season, with a 3-1 away win (vs. Hartlepool) and Maidenhead can consider themselves fortunate to still be playing National League football after finishing 21st last season. Saying that, our reconstituted back line will be tested.. I know this season is starting under far from ideal circumstances, but in spite of everything, I'm really looking forward to this one... |

If anyone from the club is reading this - I did not originally get a passcode (season ticket holder 75) and had to ask for one. The one then sent does not recognise my correct email address - I was told the reason I did not originally get one is that someone at the SUFC end had mistyped my email. Help!! Now 3pm, cant get in
