Swirling wind but predominantly heading ino the left hand corner. Did we win the toss as they kicked off. If so, why change ends as the wind got stronger as the match went on?
This was an in and out performance and would have been happy with a point but then David A goes on an incredible run (not for the first time) gets clipped and Harry B wins the game with a well taken pen. Where the ball is when DA got clipped is irrelevant. A late challenge is called that 'cos it is late.
As for the first. Definite foul as their guy (was it Clark?) just smashed Isaac and made no attempt for the ball. But it looked well outside the box (I wait to be proved wrong) and I was stunned when we got the pen which I think came on the assistant's say so.
Daggers will be rightly aggrieved not to have got anything from the game and their goal was identical to their winner against Bromley last week.
A difficult night for the lads but they found a way by keeping going. Thought Kenny D produced a wonderful cameo when he came on and we started to move the ball around with more purpose and was a calming influence when Daggers were chasing the win.
As for David A, that was just incredible.
Well done to all.

Great result as others have said it shows title winning qualities. Yep a 93rd minute winner a real uplift for those of us who would normally listen to the excellent MIXLR service denied by Daggers tonight!

Just seen the second pen incident again and DA was taken out by a covering defender just after he released the ball. Definite pen.

We've played better than this and lost. Infact I think we played better over 90min v Wrexham away. But I'm not going to complain. There have been so many times over the years where we've been on the receiving end of a game like this. It's all about getting the points and although Torquay won, Eastleigh, Hartlepool, Stockport, Notts C and Wrexham could only draw. It gives us a little more space so when we host Bromley next week we will still be in 2nd regardless.
Well done boys for getting the points tonight. How we got them will be forgotten in time, but the fact we did won't be.

Not quite ‘regardless’, Andy, but Hartlepool would need to slaughter Barnet on Saturday by 10 clear goals for us to drop to 3rd. Admittedly, the Bees have been shipping a lot of goals this season, but you’d like to think they can avoid succumbing to a record score in this division! (Fun fact: we have the joint highest victory at 9-0, together with Rushden & Diamonds and Hereford Utd, although Rushden’s victory at Weymouth should have an asterisk by it because the Terras fielded their youth team at the time).

Got to say we were really lucky last night to come away with all 3 points. In these local matches ( London ) the opposition always seem to raise their game (pride ?). The commentators seem to suggest that was one of Daggers better performances of the season.
Didn't have a good view of the second pen but the moment Tanto got clattered in the first half i was shouting pen.
Apart from Torquay who had someone sent off all our closest rivals dropped points. A bit of a rest now until next Tuesday and a home match against Bromley. Another local team who will not want us to get one over on them.

Don’t quite understand their manager’s reaction. Yes, the ball may have been collected by the keeper, but it’s still deemed to be in play (unless the rules have changed since I was refereeing) therefore once the defender (clearly) brings Ajiboye down it’s a penalty. Perhaps someone can enlighten me?
Having said that I can’t argue the fact that we got more than we deserved last night - but that’s football!

I thought that too - quite often at this level we don't have teams come and "raise their game" against us because to some we are still not seen as a "big side" even though we sit in 2nd place. Dagenham, to their credit, did exactly what some teams did to us back in the Ryman. Really raised their game. Bearing in mind we had already played them twice this season, that does them even more credit.

Although we were not at out best last night I still don't think Dagenham were robbed! I don't recall many times Dean made a save and we were hardly hanging on at any point. It will be interesting to hear Matts comments on the game.

If things always even themselves out over the course of a season, then I await a game later down the line when we come away feeling very hard done to...wow, we certainly dodged one there! Then again, securing 3 points when you play poorly is the mark of a winning team! Was thinking that David A had been pretty anonymous all game and lo and behold... I give you Notts County at home Mark. We should never have lost that to the last kick of the game. Ah yes I had actually forgotten that one. In that case I am delighted that last nights efforts were fair recompense for the game last October. Nothing to feel guilty about at all!!
