Always an interesting away day in Halifax. Going to miss it this year !
Halifax going well this season just outside the play off places. Another team high up in the form guide. Haven't seen us win there so a good time to come away with 3 points and put more distance between our challengers.

Other matches of note tomorrow
Dagenham v Torquay Wrexham v Bromley Eastleigh v Kings Lynn Chesterfield v Weymouth Stockport v Hartlepool
Halifax have been in good form, and have won 4 of the last 6 at home. They've lost to Maidenhead and drew with Hartlepool in the last 6 at home though. Our away for however, is the best in the league, and that's included Stockport, CHesterfield and Bromley - none of which are easy places to win!
Of course whatever happens, we will still be top come the end of play Saturday, even though The Shay isn't a ground we usually do too well at.

I’m going to try and be sensible now for the final 14 games..
QUESTION: Does anyone know if you buy the stream coverage can you watch on delay - meaning in the evening?
(I am working @f Green v Bolton - midday KO and won’t return home until 6pm).
Halifax 1 SU 1

Halifax are high up the form table because they've won five of their last seven. But their more impressive results have come on their travels, including wins at Torquay (3-2) and Notts County (2-1). At home they beat Solihull and Aldershot earlier this month but both games were won only 1-0. Back in January they lost at home to Southport (2-1 in the Trophy) and Maidenhead (3-2 in the league).
Those results reinforce the expectation that tomorrow's match will be a tight one.

Views from their gaffer: www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/sport/football/fc-halifax-town-wild-calls-for-intensity-from-shaymen-in-saturdays-clash-with-table-toppers-sutton-3178103Not overly pleased with this statement - maybe he's trying some mind-games..“Recently I think they’ve tried to buy decisions in and around the box to set set-pieces up and I think we’ll have to be wary that we don’t get frustrated with them trying to buy decisions in and around the box, that’s certainly a tactic of theirs recently" Glad to hear Barden's back in training this week though Simpson's been excellent in the last couple of games he's come in for. Randall should be fit for the weekend also according to Matt. Hoping Omar's knock isn't too serious from Tuesday.

I think I'm right in thinking we've only ever won once at Halifax - a 1-0 smash and grab just before Christmas in 2018 thanks to a late late Craig Eastmond winner.
A little over 2 years on and only 3 of that squad remain today (Eastmond, Beautyman and Davis - potentially 4 if you're including Bradley Pearce too).

I see that Halifax are not permitting a match commentary via Mixlr tomorrow. SUFC have said also that it appears likely that there will not be a radio commentary via BBC. I shall have nothing to yell at here in my flat.
