So on Tuesday night we face a Woking side who have only managed to take 1 point in their last 10 games.
They say there are no easy games in the National League and we still need to turn up on the night and be at our best. Its easy to think that we could improve our goal difference but the main thing is to win and keep the pressure on Torquay.
Also playing are Stockport who face a very tough game against in form Dagenham. I have a sneaky suspicion that Daggers may come away with a point here. Any more than that and Stockport may feel that have less to play for against Torquay on Sunday which wouldn't do us any favours.
Let's get this done tomorrow and see where we stand at the weekend.

It's one of those games where you don't really want to look at the form table. But they have managed 1 point out of a possible 30 (a 0-0 at Eastleigh, which to be fair was better than we did!) and since then they've actually had a really tough run (Bromley, Wrexham, Torquay, Halifax, Chesterfield, Dagenham to name most of them). Looking at their last 10 away games, they've managed 2 wins however - Barnet and Wealdstone. They've not won a game since 23rd March, and not even got a point since 10th April.
As Del said, the important thing is a win. 1st place is the prize tomorrow night. If Stockport beat Woking on Sunday, we could be up to 4 points ahead with 2 games left to play.

I think I'd take the view that any of our competitors dropping points at this stage is A Good Thing. If we beat Woking and Stockport draw, we'll only need another 4 points from 3 games to make it impossible for Stockport to overtake us. A Daggers win would reduce that to a solitary win (not that that would help us with Torquay!!).
If Stockport don't get full points then their motivation for beating Torquay is a) keeping above Hartlepool to ensure a play-off semi at home and b) keeping up as much pressure on Sutton/Torquay in the knowledge that bums will be squeaking!
Of course, the only thing that really matters is Sutton putting in a professional and clinical performance to ensure a win over Woking to go top of the league with 3 games to go.
My first 'home' game watching Sutton since Nov 2019, albeit in quarantine! Hope it's not a nailbiter...

Hope it's not a nailbiter... We could be 4-0 up at halftime and I'd still be munching on a nail sandwich.

Can’t wait for tomorrow PM.
Fingers crossed I’ll be MIXLR’rinng unless work gets in the way..
Prediction tomorrow - however Matt has a few selection headaches which is a good thing.
Kenny stays in? Ben W stays in?
Isaac comes back in?

If BT weren't visiting, no doubt SUFCTV would be repeating the 01.01.2020 6-2 hammering as half time entertainment, so lets have a repeat tomorrow please to get rid of this season's BT jinx!
On the playing front, if Tanto is fit, maybe this is one game where we give Omar a well earned rest before Saturday?

Am I the only that wants to see a Sutton / Stockport win double tonight? You see if Stockport win then they could go ahead of Torquay on Sunday Main thing is we have to do our job.

A Sutton/Dagenham double is much more preferable. Stockport have a lot to play for if they can't win the league so a Daggers win would be ideal.

When our match starts, I’d rather not hear that Stockport are 3 up at half-time.

For me a Sutton/Dagenham combo too. I can't see Stockport "taking it easy" against Torquay on Sunday regardless of the result tonight for them.

Forgot other teams. 4 wins and we are champions. Simple. That said, it is never simple or easy, so even at this late stage in the season, it’s still one game at a time for me.

We can end the night 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 points ahead of Stockport. I know which end of the scale I'd rather see reflected in the league table come 10pm!

Quite happy for those lucky enough to be present to be supporting the team. They are there presumably because they are giving a lot more to the club than me as someone who just comes and watches the game. It’s not ideal and it’s totally crazy that we haven’t been in at least the last month in my humble opinion but that’s out of my/our hands.

Should the spectators who are allowed in,under the guise of stewards/helpers/volunteers etc be.......... Wearing club colours such as shirts and scarves ? Jumping up and down celebrating goals ? Some people might consider this to be taking the piss.If i was someone who attended all or most of the games i wouldn't feel comfortable with it to put it mildly. Some may consider that yes. I'd expect the majority of us don't care. We'd rather focus on what is happening on the pitch, which for the majority of the season has been wonderful and the reason why with 4 games to play we're in decent shout of becoming a league side for the first time in our history.
