Not a huge surprise, as he was increasingly unpopular with their fans. He's the seventh manager in League Two to be sacked this season, but I think the first to be given the shove with his side in the top half of the table. Expectations are obviously high at Valley Parade, and 11th, eight points off a play-off place, just wasn't good enough at this stage. Drawing at home to a pub team from Surrey hardly helped his cause. 😁

Bradford City appoint Sparky. Wow! Thats a big club if they can afford to employ their own Electrician! We usually do it with volunteers!

Bradford City appoint Sparky. That’ll be good, to see a multiple Cup and Premier League winner in the opposition dugout at the end of April.

The first time I saw him was at a pre-season friendly at Kingsmeadow back in the mid-90s when the visitors Chelsea paraded both their new signings, Ruud Gullit and Hughes, before the game. Unfortunately, neither of them played, but K’s still got a good 5-0 drubbing.
