Fascinating stuff, but how reliable are those figures? It's not clear how the data on fans' wages is obtained. I find it hard to believe that Barrow's fans are the best remunerated in League Two! Information about player wages can be derived from a club's accounts, but these are not generally published until several months after the end of the relevant season. I suspect that these figures are from two seasons ago, which would explain why those for Barrow, Hartlepool and Sutton are so low.

How are the fixtures worked out? I'm sure with modern Computers they could've done a better job. We have no home league games for about 3 weeks.
Then in February we've got 4 home games out of 5. Years ago with "primitive" computers it was a lot more reasonable.

Yes I had forgotten.

The 2022-23 English Football League season will start earlier on 30 July next year because of the World Cup.

The 2022-23 English Football League season will start earlier on 30 July next year because of the World Cup. Is it too late to take the World Cup away from Kuwait and move it back to the summer?

Keith Curle has been sacked by Oldham. They're now looking for their 10th manager since 2018!!! I make that six managerial departures in League Two this season. Four have been sacked (Beech from Carlisle, Cox from Scunthorpe, Revell from Stevenage, Curle from Oldham) and two have resigned (Flynn from Newport, Challinor from Hartlepool). It's no coincidence that the sacking clubs occupy the four bottom spots in the table.
