Ps. Am I the only one who thinks the club missed a trick making the new Third kit Black? Having it in Chocolate with Amber trimming would have been unique and really something else. :-) Yes I suggested that. Wouldn't be a first chocolate in the league though because Coventry had one years ago. Certainly would be the first in a long old while though. Saying that didn't Bury have a Brown kit a few seasons back I seem to recall?

As someone who likes to wear SUFC kit as often as possible (I have nine still serviceable), The new kit is certainly the most flattering to me personally.

But for a budgetary twist of fate, we could've been twinned with the San Francisco 49ers. SF are more Red... Burgundy and Gold is more like Washington (formerly Redskins). We certainly dodged a bullet there!

I see personalised shirts are now available on the online shop. I'll definitely be picking one of them up, probably the Home one for now.

With all this change kits whenever possible I still don't understand why Chelsea and Manchester City wear their home colours when they play each other. It always used to be a clear colour clash and consequently the away team would change. Also in Cup Ties it used to be tradition for BOTH teams to change if there was a colour clash.
(Apologies if I've posted this before!)
