I think we were surprised! In my opinion there seemed to be a bigger proportion of concessions last night, so maybe that ticketing policy did work. Shame one of them decided to throw a bottle on the pitch, and yet from what I could see, remained in the ground. As we get bigger, we will have more idiots butt hat shouldn't take away from the achievement of getting this far in a cup competition. Is this our first semi final appearance in a national cup competition since for 22 years? The kid who chucked the bottle was escorted away but I think allowed to return - not sure why or whether that is the right policy especially considering the recent stuff in the PL? I think it may revolve around duty of care in leaving a minor on his own on the dark streets of the PROWS. The club can obviously apply sanctions such as a ban after the event and, I'm sure, will look at how it deals with such incidents in the future.

I am told by those who know such things that, under safeguarding rules, u16's can't be ejected onto the streets alone, hence his return.

I doubt he would have been with a responsible adult.

I doubt he would have been with a responsible adult. No very unlikely. It was a little tongue in cheek comment. I was nearly ejected from a reserve team game about 60 years ago for blowing a whistle!

From personal experience, if you’re an under-16 thrown out of a Football match, the best way to gain re-entry is to stand by the gate and cry.

I never noticed the bottle throwing incident. When and where did it take place?
