Really tough game. I'm not expecting to win but maybe we can take them to penalties. Anyway its a new ground for me to visit so looking forward to it. Feel pretty much the same, would be great to nick a goal at Cardiff, even if Cardiff go on to win 2-1. All in all we'll give a good account of ourselves on the pitch. I'm in Cardiff now, it's sunny. |

Need to get a point in the league ASAP to give the players some belief. 5 goals against but scored 3 for in two totally different scenarios against two ‘new’ teams with higher experience that we will eventually emulate. Give it time. |

A great performance tonight, but Beauts did warn us that mistakes at this level are pounced on and cost matches. I maybe being told I am a bit critical but I put 3 of the 5 down that we have conceded to errors.
Those mistakes go we win matches and we will be more than comfortable in Lg2.

Yep, Deano did help the ball into the net for their equaliser. Don't think there was much he could have done about their next two, their third finishing off a slick counter-attack. But for most of the first half we were the better side, Donovan Wilson stunning the home crowd with an early goal from David A's cross. Coby Rowe's scrambled second gave us a glimmer of hope at the death.
Kenny Davis once again pulled an awesome performance out of the hat.
Nothing on the board yet, but enough in the first two performances to give us encouragement.

Nothing but pride tonight. We matched a top championship side and literally the only thing between us was a goalkeeping mistake.
There's nothing to be negative about whatsoever. Our fans were top notch, the players worked their socks off (Kenny was out of this world tonight, possibly the best game in a Sutton shirt).
A night to remember for all the right reasons aside from the result.

We've lost an away league cup tie against a team 2 divisions above us and one league game away too.
I didn't go to either game so I've got no first hand knowledge but at least we battled to the end tonight.
I'm not pessimistic at the moment.
