Fantastic game with thunder and lightning providing a suitably dramatic backdrop to the drama on the pitch! Apparently this is a record turnaround for the FA Cup.

I took the opportunity to pop along to GGL this afternoon and watched the entertaining 2-2 draw with Jersey Bulls. You really wouldn’t have guessed that Sutton Common Rovers were a division above because the Bulls bossed the match for the most part, but credit to SCR, who battled back from two down to earn a replay.

Having watched the match on BBC's iplayer, I suspect the Bulls will have some difficulty into hanging onto their main striker Sol Solomon, he could easily be playing a couple of divisions higher, perhaps even more

I was there myself, really enjoy the game on and off the field. Agree with your summary of the game. Tuesdays replay in Jersey should be interesting. Jersey are a team who rarely lose. I posted a blog about the game on Medium. Link here link.medium.com/tGMvpCe5FjbI took the opportunity to pop along to GGL this afternoon and watched the entertaining 2-2 draw with Jersey Bulls. I was there too and one thing I noticed. SCR had ballboys.
If they can why can't we or is it something to do with numbers at the stadium?

Think we removed them due to covid outbreak in the squad, presumably for the short term.

How much should Sutton charge for the hire of the pitch 🤔

Can’t help thinking from the image that the goal net is pulled a bit tight? Appears to be coming off the posts.

Draw for 3rd qualifying round:
Still a fair amount of local interest, Merstham and Dorking Wanderers have home ties, Redhill (who I haven’t seen have a good run in the cup for a long while) visit Yate. Kingstonian, Met Police and our tenants all have replays to navigate along with Corinthian Casuals v Leatherhead. Tie of the round probably Maidstone v Dartford.

How much should Sutton charge for the higher of the pitch 🤔 I think that this should have been confirmed before the match took place. And how high do you want the pitch?

Ok thank you for the reply, I can’t make it to the stadium until 15 mins after game start, hope they still wait for late arrivals:)
