Having watched the match on BBC's iplayer, I suspect the Bulls will have some difficulty into hanging onto their main striker Sol Solomon, he could easily be playing a couple of divisions higher, perhaps even more Apparently that could well be his last game for the bulls as apparently hes going to uni on the mainland. He's playing tonight, so he's clearly not gone just yet. In fact, he's just scored the Bulls' third goal as I type this! And Murphy-McVey pulls one back to make it 3-2! SCR aren't out of this yet...

FT: SCR 2 Jersey Bulls 3. Rovers gave it a real go, but Jersey were a bit more ruthless in the final third.
Rovers finished the game with nine men, as both full backs were dismissed in a rather fractious last ten minutes.

Disappointing for the Rovers, but they gave it a go. Fair play to Jersey, coming over to London twice in a short space of time. From Saturdays game they looked comfortable on the ball. Will monitor Jersey Bulls progress. FT: SCR 2 Jersey Bulls 3. Rovers gave it a real go, but Jersey were a bit more ruthless in the final third. Would have had a winnable 3Q tie at home to Chertsey too. K’s lost at Horsham (same as last year if I remember rightly) and Corinthian Casuals swept past Leatherhead also tonight.

Hard to understand the call to take out number 10 from SCR after he just scored. No matter how tired he might have been he was from far their best offensive player and they couldn’t even hold on to the ball for the last 10’ after he was out

I had to look up what division Chertsey are in - they’re in a higher league than Jersey Bulls who are in the Combined Counties.

This will be the first season that we have not been involved in the Qualifying Rounds since 1981/2. (Exempt as FA Trophy finalists)

This will be the first season that we have not been involved in the Qualifying Rounds since 1981/2. (Exempt as FA Trophy finalists) Is that correct? I thought we were exempt to the 1st round in 89/90 thanks to our heroics v Coventry? And I don't remember us playing in the qualifying round in 90/91 either (although that could be me). 89 and 90 we went out in replays to Torquay and Merthyr respectively.
