Highlights from today's matches in the 4th Qualifying round:
- Woking beaten at Horsham, Aldershot beaten at Bowers & Pitsea and Dartford beaten at AFC Sudbury.
- Corinthian Casuals denied victory by a last minute St Albans equaliser. Wrexham save themselves with last minute equaliser at Marine. Havant score 94th minute equaliser at Torquay (some sources, but not all, reporting Tommy Wright as the goalscorer).
- 8 of the top 10 in the National League safely through to the first round and the other 2 have home replays. Only 4 of the 23 National League teams knocked out so far - and 2 of those were beaten by other National League teams.

Unfortunately we are now in no mans land as far as TV appeal goes .
From a club perspective we want “easy ties” that we can we to progress to the 3rd Round.
From the perspective of “sexiness” then a Home tie against Sunderland Wigan Bolton Sheffield Wednesday. Or Local Derby AFC Wimbledon.
Wycombe at GGL would be especially nice as we could avenge the Trophy Semi final defeat when we the Isthmian Premier minnows had done the difficult and won at Wycombe in the first leg . Wycombe were NL giants and running away with the league , only to do us over big time in the second leg back in 1993. Along with Kingstonian and Woking our biggest non league rivals amongst the “big” non league clubs.
Worst draw away to Grimsby - difficult opponents and a long way to go .
Personal choice Away to Oxford - just down the road.
Likely an away tie to a NL or N & S who will fancy a pop at us. Bromley or Notts County are cup boggy teams - but if Notts County- we would be the big boys this time around.
