So 3905 is now the modern day record (I wasn't there to make it 3906) If we continue to do well that will probably be broken again and again this season.

Given the attendance level, it was good to see that most people were in the ground by kick-off with a relatively short queue of latecomers still buying their tickets on the day. We know that the new arrangements take a little getting used to but buying a match ticket in advance is the easiest way to ensure you don't miss the kick-off and if spectators do need to buy on the day then arriving early is still strongly recommended. Of course, if gates continue to increase at this rate then we might even get to the stage where we don't have any tickets left to sell !
Thank you all for your support.

Nothing definitive, still delays around supply chain shortages.

Having said that, as far as promoting the club is concerned, the day couldn’t have gone much better. I think the next league attendance target would be 4,500, which was the gate at our Isthmian League match against Wimbledon in 63/64.

Thought the pitch looked in fine shape considering the number of games being played on it. As a matter of interest who looks after the maintenance.

[/quote Yes, can confirm that 63/4 crowd although expect it wasn't an exact figure as that. Shouldn't think we have topped 4,000 for a league game since.

What happens at that stage if season ticket holders are still to get into the ground ? I personally didn’t get into the ground until kick off, due to the huge queue at the bar! I really think in the local area Saturday did as much good as the FA Cup run for the club. Spoken to a few people since who were not really aware of how well the club was doing - they do now!

Season ticket holders are all assumed to want to turn up, so the number on sale is only ever the total capacity minus STs sold.
