Its has to be one of the best ever U's league performances, to win away to a fancied side without really being troubled to secure our first ever EFL away win is simply top drawer. Any doubters there were that little Sutton didn't fully deserve their league status has been well and truly blown out of the water in the past week, 6 goals for none against. From Deano to Wilson the team were superb today, win our game in hand and we are in the playoffs - Surely not Over the moon, and far far away.........

In an all round outstanding performance, I though Ali Smith was double outstanding. Has a lovely ability to appear calm and be popping up all over the place to great effect. Great start to your U’s career sir!

A superb all round performance from the boys today but also from the 200 plus travelling fans. All the noise came from our small section of the seating. Hard to believe that there was virtual silence from their 4500 fans who failed to get behind their team at any time. It was obvious from the reaction of the team how much they appreciated the support. Gutted I cant be at the match next week but I suppose my twin kids 30th birthdays should take precedence. Next week will be a stern test. Shows how Matt’s recruitment has been spot on with currently Bennett, Kizzi, Boldewijn, and Smith justifying starting places. Hard to see how Harry or Kenny will get a start at present .

Good result and great performance. Its nice to see the team has repaid the coub for all their hard work over the summer. The club is firing on all fronts. Important we pick up these points when we are on form. But after 9 games you have to say we have bedded in well to this league. His signing were bang on and we have a steing bench. Almost a problem with plays not getting games.
Very proud of team at the moment but lets not now put too much pressure. If we finish one place above religation on goal difference come the end of the season, I will be a happy chap.

Very commanding performance and i must say that so far i have not seen a team that is better than us. If we continue to play like this i will stick my neck out and say that a play off place is a reasonable target and automatic promotion is not just a dream !
I'm not sure where the bookies have us now but certainly a lot higher than at the start of the season!

4-0 v Carlisle and 2-0 at Northampton - arguably the most impressive back-to-back results in our history. I suppose, from a performance perspective, the most heroic would have to be the two Middlesbrough matches in 1988 (which, having checked, were consecutive fixtures), but to put two league clubs to the sword, without conceding, is quite extraordinary. I’m so proud to be a supporter of this football club right now.

Ultimately it would not have counted, because the referee blew up for a free-kick, but I'd just like to highlight the amazing block by Ben Goodliffe in the closing seconds (the incident where Deano was booked), showing both amazing commitment and agility.

I thought the referee had a good game yesterday and wasn’t intimidated. The sight of her standing next to Richie was quite comical. She was prepared to let the game run and played two good advantages one for each team. Something which hasn’t been emphasised, after we were top of the fair play table in the National League last season, we are not amassing any where near the number of yellow cards as our opponents, yet all the opposing managers when previewing games against us say we are “a well organised physical team”, which is a euphemism for being dirty in my book , which we most certainly aren’t.

We are second in the L2 Fair Play table, only Rochdale have had fewer bookings.

Fun fact: we’ve already now accrued more points than Derby County managed in the whole of their 2007/08 campaign!
