My first visit to Broadhall Way since the club came from nowhere in the lower leagues to reach the Football league. If memory serves me correctly we only played them in one season but now we find ourselves several places above them in the League.
Certainly from the pictures i have seen the ground has improved a lot since those days. Craig Eastmond should at last be available after suspension though i would imagine he will take time to get back up to speed. I'm hoping our covid sufferers have fully recovered and that we have a decent chance of taking 3 points but they will be no pushovers.

I believe we were in the same division as them (isthmian prem) in the early 1990s for a couple of seasons as well as being in the Conference with them in 99/00. Our away form isn't fantastic and their home form is OK. I get a feeling tomorrow's match is going to be akin to the Crawley game earlier in the season. Albeit hopefully without the racism.

It's £12 return from Finsbury Park tomorrow (I'll use my Old Bugger's pass for the London part). Not too bad I think.

You should try a Southeastern train. They cancel more trains than Oldham cancel football matches.

Wonderful to pull that draw out of the bag! Ahmed went commentary-ape when the equaliser went in. Love that guy.

Their first goal was a joke and the ref was the worse I have seen for a while. Blatent foul on Goodlife and might have been offside as well. And their third goal was extremely odd, am not even sure what happend. The Ref seemed to give everything to them in a very physical game.
Can't say we played great, we seem to be a little flat of late but can't fault the lad's effort. They tugged away and I was pleased for Bennet who should have had a few more this season. Glad we got 8 mins of IT. I despise it when teams time waste and this was about the only thing the ref got right today. (Will have to see the penalty back again).

Have got to say, sat right opposite the foul on Tanto it didn't look like a penalty but after the atrocious refering for the rest of the game including a blatant foul and then not a foul for the freekick of the 2nd one, it was probably a good way of evening up the decisions!!! The boys did look a bit off it at times but with all of the disruption the last couple of weeks, that is completely understandable

The game reminded me of the away game at Halifax last season, getting a late equaliser after a poor performance. I can’t think of one player who played well but as a team they battled for the deserved the draw👏🏻

Wow. Didn't expect that to happen.
Firstly, that first hour or so was probably the worst I've seen Sutton play this season. I thought that without Barden, Bouzanis and Goodliffe, Stevenage would have been out of sight by half time.
The subs were inspired though. Tanto was virtually anonymous out on the left and putting Randall on for Wilson (who had a very quiet game) and Bennett for Sho Silva (who put loads of effort in for little reward) changed everything.
I totally agree with Stewart, just like Halifax last season. We got a point where for a long time it looked like we'd get nothing, and also deserve nothing. This is the attitude that won us the league last season.
Shame there were some fans who don't understand the anti hate stance we applaud every match and one special idiot decided to make the equaliser all about them.
Otherwise today felt like a win.

Sorry I don't know what happened. But to continue. Their fist goal should have been disallowed 1.foul on Ben. 2.their no 8 was clearly offside. Their 3 . I have seen the highlights. The free kick was taken to quickly and kicked straight to their player. But a good comeback from the lads. Again a well taken penalty by will And a great cross from David for The third goal and a well placed header. Several supporters around me commented on the Hoof Ball we still us and not keeping it on the ground. I know this subject has been discussed previously. As A B quotes onward and upwards.

I agree with Andy K. TANTO is not a winger A Yes the subs made a difference.

A mad game, a mad Ref and a mad result. Probably the worst we played in that 1st half but came out battling in the second a great volley to bring us back into it. A bizarre 3rd goal for them followed up by a penalty award for a perfectly timed tackle - who needs VAR This U's team doesn't know when its beaten, 97.02 was the goal time.. I look forward to MarkF's appraisal of the bloke in the middle...
