Another professional display from a team that are demonstrating that they belong in the Football League. I’m delighted (and if I’m being honest, surprised) at how well this squad have taken to League Two.
League One?….. I wouldn’t put it past them.

Also a big shout out for Enzo. Great performance. With him and Will vying for a place, we are spoilt for choice.

Think we looked particularly good 2nd half and used the ball nicely, confidence flowing. Yes Harry did really well given his extended break. He may have to go again Tuesday!
We continue to outperform expectations and are positioned nicely to at least keep our season alive going into the home stretch. Fantastic efforts from the group and management as per, what is becoming, normal.

Must agree with garthl Harry looked good over the 80 minutes he was on.In the second half he looked like he was relishing the game.Back to his old self!! If Kenny has an injury then Harry will have to go again. Should be OK.

No update on Ali's fitness in Matt's post match interview. Sounds like Wigan picked up injuries to a couple of key players today.

One of the best performances I have seen at GGL - and at the highest level. What's more without Tanto and Will. Congratulations all round!

Same winning margin as last Saturday, but a clean sheet this time. 🙂 Rochdale offered a bit more of a goal threat than Scunthorpe had, with Alex Newby something of a handful for our defence, but we've now scored five against them over two games. Our wingers were on fire, with Enzio scoring his first two goals for the club and David a continual thorn in the left side of their defence. And that's now two goals in three matches for Joe Kizzi. Back up to third, and just the one defeat in our last sixteen league and Cup games. But we are about to embark on a testing run of fixtures. I make it 3 in 3 games that Joe has scored Mark

Ah yes, Joe scored against both Hartlepool and Scunthorpe. 😳
Also worth mentioning that academy graduate Kylian Kouassi made his Football League debut for us today, coming on as an 81st minute substitute for Omar Bugiel. Proud moment.

I thought Rochdale were poor but we allowed them a lot of the ball in midfield which they couldn't seem to do anything with. In the end it was a comfortable win and the confidence was visibly oozing once we hit that 3rd goal.
There will be tougher tests to come and we can't really afford to let better teams have so much possession. Lacking a few key players that's understandable so on to Wigan on Tuesday with confidence high.

How blessed are we with gifted dead-ball specialists at the moment - with Rob, Kenny and Enzio. I can also remember Harry hitting some beauties for us in the past. I won't name any names - but this hasn't always been the case during my long time watching this club.
