Has Richie left as well? To Barrow? Was that as a transfer or was he released? I do hope Matt can sort out the lack of forwards we now have or not. TANTO, DAVID NOW RICHIE.

Have just read the club and Richie's statement. Quite understandable. But as I have said previously its leaving us very short of forwards.

Richie has left for family reasons so could not stand in his way. Would not worry about signings as Matt said in his interview signings on its way.⚽️⚽️⚽️

No, it’s House and a guy from the academy. Stand to be corrected. So has Deano gone ? From what I saw there was no mention of “both keepers” just of “two keepers”. Which leaves with no update on Deano I guess.

Having seen Matt's interview again. He said HOUSE and the lad from the academy have signed but no mention of Deano.

Having lost Tanto, David and now Bennett, and letting Sho-Silva go before the end of last season, it does make one question whether it was prudent to let Korboa go.
I am beginning to panic (its my nature) that we are going to be terribly short of firepower and without Wilson and Bugiel (though injury or suspension) we won't be able to score enough goals. Dundas is just emergency fill in for 15 mins or so and Kouassi unproven. I remain to be convinced by Lovatt.
All the good players seem to have been snatched up. There is also the uncertainty around Deano as well.
We need at least 4 players mimimum ... Right side wing back (with pace) , a No 9 and a No 10 and a good goal keeper (if we haven't got Deano) . I wonder if we may take a couple of Millwall players on loan?

Exactly what I have been saying on earlier threads and posts. I have said 3 or 4 more. But with the departures we may need to double that number. ( Allowing for injuries etc.) I know Matt said in his interview that he may have a few in mind but this next week we will find out if we have a full squad or maybe lacking one or two. WATCH THIS SPACE.!!

I'm not privilege to "inside" information any more, but I have worked with every Sutton manager from Barrie Williams onwards. Matt is the most organised of them all, he will have made his plans to the nth degree, he will have known who would or might be leaving and would have his replacements, and 2nd and 3rd alternatives, already lined up. As I explained a little further up, most players are still under contract so it is not surprising that the level of movements across the divisions is still quite low, not just with us. There is no need to panic, the league season does not begin tomorrow.

There will definitely be a plan. In David’s comments on the Posh website he said it had taken a while to get the deal over the line so Matt knew what was coming. I doubt very much Richie told Matt today of his plans. Why let Nelson go if we are going to be short of keepers?
Yes we need attacking players but this is where Terry Bullivant will have been earning his money last season for moments like this.

Rightly or wrongly, I get the impression that Matt has been on the look out for the right striker for a while now. It was rumoured that he was interested in bringing in Ryan Loft in the January window. Loft was scoring a lot of goals for a poor Scunthorpe team. Loft ended up signing for Bristol Rovers - and then promptly got injured. We had a lot of good forward players last season - but none of them were prolific goal scorers. I think that Tanto might have been if he hadn't struggled with injuries and Donovan showed enough the season before last to indicate that he could be. If Matt can find that 20 goal a season striker that every manager is after, then we might make the play offs this season - or do even better. Dom Telford has announced that he is leaving Newport - but one would imagine that he is destined to go to League one or higher.
