In an unsucessful way, inadequate,or unsatisfactory according to the dictionary. I'm surprised you don't know that Andy Seriously though Wilson was only back up to Tanto and Thomas didn't set the world on fire at Wrexham. One goal in 7 games between them at this level speaks volumes. Ok that's only my opinion and football is a game of opinions and only time will tell. Again does it? Saying Wilson was only a back up to Tanto does him a disservice, especially with the almost totally predictable way Matt does his attacking substitutions almost every match. And both those players made around the same percentages of appearances from the bench (35-40%). In all honesty, there isn't a conclusion you can make about any player 6 league games in. Virtually any attacker, regardless of level will go through patches of form. The very few that show any sort of consistency are the ones valued in the 50m+ category. There are many on here who still pine for Ajiboye, but if you watched him between Feb and March last season only, would you make a judgement on that? On current PPG, if we match this for the rest of the season, we'd end up on 61 points. Which would translate as us finishing 12th. I'd take that any day of the week. Ok fine. Yes i'm sure we can end mid table with what we have. No argument there but i like to think we can at least aim for the play offs and i think we may have a striker coming in today according to rumours.

So, our cloggers and anti football (Mansfield's pre match forum thread) once again overcame their apparently more refined approach. Shocking from ref today. No idea when to play advantage. Massively inconsistent especially with use of cards. Appeared not to know the difference between a foul and a fair tackle (the free kick they scored from looked a good tackle from my angle). Super sub Tope wins the day again. He is improving too as he scored with his first touch today. Against Barrow it was his second. What a cheat Quinn is too. Caused the first half handbags, feigning injury to try and get Easty in trouble when he Easty had pulled out. Still, previous with Gunter of AFCW already this season. But I suppose to the average Mansfield fan that's not anti football. Not sure what the hold up was for in second half. Quinn appeared to be involved with that too. Sutton 3 Mansfield 0. Great 3 points. No time to read 4 pages of comments but I agree. The ref was atrocious. Lots of play acting by Mansfield players because they'd rumbled him. And playing on after a foul should not mean no yellow card. Terrible display and for once nothing bad to say about the linesman on the park side.

Also does anyone know what that holdup was for? The referee seemed to be totally confused as were the rest of us. He ran backwards and forwards from bench to bench.

I think that was cleared up earlier in the match thread.

I think that was cleared up earlier in the match thread. Maybe but as I said I hadn't read all 4 pages. Caught up now but did the referee resolve that situation satisfactorily? No. He just told a few people off for being naughty boys.
