The way I read it is that M1 is open southbound from junction 14? Am I right?

Well done Sally for pointing today’s date out, I always get confused in October with dates as 14th is Battle of Hastings, 21st Battle of Trafalgar and today 25th St Crispin’s Agincourt. Now we’ve also got 24th battle of the Prime Ministers 🤦♂️😂😳

That's how I read it. There are problems on the A43 around Towcester by the look of it as well.

That's how I read it. There are problems on the A43 around Towcester by the look of it as well. I’ll be going on the A428 from Northampton to Olney, then picking up the A509 to junction 14 M1.

Feels like a win. Against a very D1 looking Northampton (well, in the first half...).

Well done U’s. Great to see both strikers, Omar and Donny, on the scoresheet. It’s been a while for them and should be a big confidence boost.

When some of us saw the line-up with both Louis John and Craig Eastmond missing, we would have been forgiven for fearing the worst. And those fears seem to have been confirmed by a rather lackustre first half showing and a 2-0 half-time deficit. But a battling second-half performance saw us claw back those goals. Switching Omar to midfield and bringing on Kylian in his place made the difference.
Kylian put in a monster shift up front, starting out on the left where an early overload led to our first goal, Omar diving to head in Rob Milsom's cross. Donovan added the second after muscling past a defender.
Northampton had their moments as the clock wound down, but this time we held on without conceding late on. That will have put the team in good heart for Saturday's trip to Stockport.

OS is chuffed, great 2nd half performance a goal each for Bugiel and Wilson. Why because the change is made to push Bugiel back into midfield, bring the excellent 'game changing' Kouassi on to partner Wilson and bang, bang we are level. I really hope Matt starts with that setup on Saturday

Very proud of that comeback. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one fearing the worst at half time but these players never give up. The early goal at the start of the 2nd half gave us some belief and we could have won it in the end. Kylian did do well up top and ruffled them a bit. Thought Josh had his best game since being at the club in the 2nd half. With Kizzi’s 2 headers and Omar flashing one wide at the death we probably had the better chances overall (though they had one good one towards the end too). Great to see Omar and Donovan score, should do wonders for their confidence.
First goal against was very soft particularly and we got exposed a touch on the 2nd. Totally over the top unnecessary celebrations in front of us that the ref just let go on and on. They thought the points were wrapped up, bit of karma that 2nd half turnaround.

Just read on the Cobblers forum, that we are Lewis Ward’s 10th club at the age of 25. Perhaps he has a rich agent?
Any news on Rose?

At half time I thought that we were in for a thumping!! I don't know if Joe was injured but the substitution and new line up for the second half. With Rob going back to full back,Omar dropping into midfield and Kyilian coming in to partner Donovan up front was a master stroke( Well done Matt )It was a lot better second half. It great to see both Omar and Donovan scoring . Again we played against 12 with the ref being biased to the home team. I am sorry to say I am still out regarding lewis in goal!
