Not one home Tuesday league match yet. We have so far played Crewe, Swindon and Stevenage away (the latter being rearranged). Sadly it looks as though I'm missing tonight as work gets in the way.

This is the last scheduled midweek away game of the season, with Gilligham, Swindon and Northampton coming to GGL on Tuesday evenings in December, February and April respectively. The latter two of those we faced midweek away of course!

Tough game in prospect, with Northampton third in the table.
We did win 2-0 there just over a year ago in one of our most accomplished away performances of last season.
They've lost twice at home in the league this term, both 0-1, to Doncaster and Salford. Their biggest win has been 3-0 v Rochdale. They may be without League Two's leading scorer Sam Hoskins who's been injured. They also have midfielder Ben Fox and forward Danny Hylton suspended.

You might enjoy this one, AA. Today is St Crispin's Day. What is St Crispin the patron of? Cobblers!

And gentlemen in England now a-bed Shall think themselves accursed they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.

Let's hope that Matt can channel Henry V in the dressing-room. 🗣

I hope there will be no holding of manhoods in the dressing room

Ah, you beat me to it! Manhood and manhoods definitely two different things! Suspect a deliberate 'error' by davef!

Dave did get the words correct. I suspect the deliberate error was on the Bard's part.
Edit: ah, he's beaten me to it. Dave, not Billy S.
