Crewe are unbeaten in their last 5 matches - albeit that 4 of those 5 were against the bottom 4 and the only one that they won was against a 10 man Hartlepool side. They are probably one of just a few sides in League 2 that are neither under real threat of relegation or seriously likely to have a chance of reaching at least the play offs. We obviously go into this game in good form and hopefully Crewe won't do anything to upset our 125th birthday celebrations. Omar has now served his two match suspension and interesting to see if Matt brings him straight back into the side as he did with Easty. Also interesting to see if Louis and/or Rob are match fit - although even if they are, they might find it difficult to displace their deputies (Coby and Sam) given how well they and the team have done in their absence. A win won't be enough to put us in the play off places given our goal difference and Swindon, Barrow or Tranmere could all potentially take advantage of any slip up by us. Right now though, just feels good to be in the play-off picture for the second year running as a Football League club.

Crewe are the third-lowest goalscorers in League Two, so if we do what we did in our last four matches, and score twice, then we'd have a decent chance of three points.
They do have the much-travelled Courtney Baker-Richardson, a striker with a habit of scoring against us, back from injury, though he may not be quite fit enough to start on Saturday.
With this being the weekend of our club's 125th anniversary, I'd hope that the team will have a little extra incentive to get the win. ✊️

Crewe have only one once in the last 10 games - against Hartlepool. In their last 10 away games, they've won once (at Swindon).
As has been the case for our recent games, we have nothing to fear.

I don't wish to dampen any birthday celebrations, but I do hope the club will be considering a minute's silence for Sammy.

Just posted something about this on Facebook and had lots of praise for our club from supporters from other teams up and down the country.

First match I've managed to come to this season and we've changed colour!

First and last time I would say to play in red.
Own up who bought all the programmes sold out by 230 and if not earlier.

Thank goodness for goal machine Coby Rowe, three in three games now. A deserved point but that was a poor game today. Sutton just never seemed properly up for it today. I watched the warm up and I noticed Beautyman was much quieter than usual and Eastmond was very splapdash with his passing and control. Completely unlike both of them normally and they carried it forward into the match.
Ali Smith’s drive in midfield was a big loss and the Angol/Bugiel partnership never clicked either. Nobody had a good game.
At least it was another point but the team will need to be sharper on Tuesday. Time to take advantage of Crawley’s chaos.

Omar never gives up however I'd like to see Angol and Dennis start.
