I don't wish to dampen any birthday celebrations, but I do hope the club will be considering a minute's silence for Sammy. There was a minute silence but no idea for who as couldn’t hear anything over the tannoy. It was a minutes applause for both John Motson and Sammy Winston. Pictures of both were shown on the scoreboard

A bit lacklustre today, but they stuck at it and got a point. Coby really is proving his worth to the team at both ends of the pitch. Sam Hart made several excellent runs that were not utilised - hope he keeps on making them regardless.

Phew. I thought that equaliser was never going to come. Thank you, Coby!
A few players off of the pace today (and tactically a little mazy at times?) but the team as resilient as ever.

Can’t win them all. Not at our best for sure. 1st half was as poor as we’ve been for some time, very very flat. But we kept going, it’s another point. Much improved 2nd. Thankfully Crewe were ordinary going forwards, though fairly solid defensively - guess that’s why they draw a lot.

Certainly not at our best today - but we've come such a long way in such a short-time. On 4th March 2021, we were a non-league team and today's opponents were mid-table in EFL League One.

Just shows the character of this team, never gave up and got their just rewards. As for “Crew” they only came for a point why all the fouls. For me Coby Row m.o.m for his goal. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

First and last time I would say to play in red. Own up who bought all the programmes sold out by 230 and if not earlier. I got mine fine from the programme seller by the Collingwood Rec turnstiles a couple of minutes after kick off.

It's a shame that the team couldn't mark the club's anniversary weekend with a more noteworthy performance and result, though Coby Rowe's very late equaliser, his third goal in three games, will stick in the memory for a while. Was the red-and-white kit to blame for the rather disjointed display on the pitch? It did seem to disorientate the players as well as some of the supporters.
Crewe are a side of limited ability but were sufficiently well organised, even after going down to ten men for the last half-hour, to shut us out for 90 minutes. Matt has enthused about the goals we've scored recently from set pieces, so it was somewhat ironic that the visitors took the lead from their only corner of the match, while we made nothing of the eleven corners we had.
At least these days we're scoring goals after the 85th minute rather than conceding them, testament to Matt's fitness regime. The point keeps us in 9th place, but, with most of the clubs above us winning yesterday, a bit of a gap has opened up between us and those in the play-off spots. Win on Tuesday against Crawley and we'd still be 9th going into next weekend's trip to 10th-placed Barrow.

Completely sold out at GGL end at 230. Perhaps some of the programmes should have been moved from Collingwood Road to GGL end. I thought the club might have printed a couple more as it was the 125 anniversary.

Was it the occasion, was it the red and white kit ? It certainly was a very flat performance in the first half and i found it a very difficult watch. Really glad that Coby salvaged a point for us in the end and kept our good run going. That leaves us 4 points off the playoffs and i can envisage a really difficult game against relegation battling Crawley on Tuesday.

I love Omar. He puts in the effort but needs to calm down. Gives away so many silly free kicks.

One of the worst games I've seen in a long time. Perhaps a combination of several players performing well below par and some tactical naivety. Why we didn't focus our attacks down our left and target their young right back who had zero defensive ability I really don't know. Instead we kept pumping it down the centre to omar.
Our wing play in particular was nowhere, and ajiboye looked to be playing with a strain of some sort because he at no point tried to take on his man or sprinted flat out. Our crossing was awful. We (mostly kizzi) sent cross after cross into the tracking defender, but when he finally sent a decent delivery into the box, lo and behold we scored. If we'd got the goal a few minutes earlier I think we would have gone on to win, but until the red card we looked like we could play all day without scoring. Big thanks to the defender and his kung fu antics, and rose who had yet another excellent game.
Think Milsom should have come on earlier too. As soon as he did, we looked a danger from set pieces but it came after a flurry of free kicks and corners which were all poor.
Hopefully just a blip and we can all blame the ridiculous red kit. If I see that again it'll be 125 years too soon. Need to win our next two home games to keep in touch with the play offs.

Matt's post match interview said the red will be one of our kits for next season- so we better get used to it . I thought it made the players look smaller and they couldn't get their heads around passing to someone in red as that's the "enemy"
