A change of management is for the board to decide, our job is to support the one with have and his team. Everyone was hurting on Tuesday, if that same hurt and frustration is turned into hunger and determination by those same people we can win tomorrow.
In the past 2 days I have witnessed the impossible, Newcastle beating PSG 4-1 and the Kiwis knocking over England and winning by 9 wks. If that can happen we can certainly win tomorrow at home to an average lge2 side.
Come on you Yellows........

I know that, online, nuance of tone can be lost or mistaken. So, if this seems like too much of a reaction, please forgive.
Yes, it is for the board to decide. But we are entitled to take a view. We are not serfs. Without us the club is nothing.
People were hurting on Tuesday. But more than that, they were simply perplexed by what they were watching.

Another stat worthy of note in the Salford/Walsall double-issue programme was just 8 points picked up from a possible 63 in home games. That's 8 from a possible 66 now.
Interestingly the bookies have the U's marginally as favourites for tomorrow. Neutrals might well be tempted to have a few bob on the visitors.

Most of us will be there in hope rather than expectation after Tuesday's shambles. Gray should walk or be pushed if we don't at least put in a vastly improved performance. If we fail to win on Sat, we could be 8 points from safety, and it will be 1 league win in HALF A SEASON of matches. Utterly unacceptable at any level and 95% of clubs would have already fired their manager. I only say we should act imminently, because in Neil Harris we could have a ready-made replacement. What he did at Gills (albiet with the reverse problem - solid defence and misfiring attack), along with a likely thick black book for january, IMO he has to be considered. Surely he's SE based and will feel massively aggreived at his sacking, with a point to prove, and would relish an instant return to management. We need someone hungry but with experience and he fits the bill. Give him 3 months to assess the squad and potential new recruits for Jan, while hopefully keeping us in touch with the pack above. As much as I would love to see Matt Gray with a smile back on his face, if we lose on Saturday, I don't see any way back for us this season under the current management. I'm sure many supporters also feel the same as I do that the current level of committment and effort from the players is not deserving of my time. Judging by the turnout on Tue (2100 my arse), many have already reached that point, but I am willing to give one more chance to the players. Why would you want to replace Matt with Neil Harris? Gillingham were looking like a relegation team until they got a blank cheque and I was surprised they didn't sack him straight away. With our budget, you might as well keep Matt than hire Neil Why would you keep a manager who has won one league game in half a season? Could put Rolf Harris in charge and would struggle to have a worse record than 1 win in 23 league games. Honestly, I don't care who the manager is, I just want to see some effort. For me it's last chance saloon tomorrow. I will vote with my feet if the performance is not considerably better. Many have clearly made that decision already. Nobody has put forward a case for any viable replacement for Matt Gray, so feel free to give me a better one than harris, because if we lose Saturday, which I expect us to (but of course hope we dont), its time for a change.

Nothing says "classy" better than saying a dead convicted sex offender would do as good a job as our current manager. No one has put forward a case for a viable alternative to Matt because really there isn't one. It's either untested people at this level or ones we won't be able to afford. Last time we were in a situation like this, we went for a viable alternative. That was Ernie Howe. How did that end up?

Again I just don’t get the argument that there is no one better out there so we stick with a management team that has gained one league win all season. There are actually some reasons not to change but worrying there is no one better out there can not be one of them.
For me this is Matt’s last chance saloon. A clean sheet is not good enough - we need a win and a performance that intimates prospect of continued improvement to keep him in the job.
Otherwise we commence a search for a new team and put our faith in Bruce and the guys who have frankly always delivered in this respect

I think you're probably right but all managers were untested at their current level at some stage in the careers just as in any other walk of life.

Up until Tuesday night I was very much of the opinion that Matt should be given a clear 2 months to make improvements. But some broken things look fixable, other broken things look like they're going to stay broken. What I saw on Tuesday fell into the latter category. It's a mistake to see a last straw and a few day later start pretending that you didn't. I hope to be proved wrong, today. But, I can't see it.

I must register my objection to Rolf Harris too . Not because he is dead but because he was a sex offender .
BUT , if we are going down the route of dead people how about Elvis Presley for manager ? It would certainly boost the gates ! The questions this raises are is he REALLY dead , did the Americans really land on the moon and will we win today ?
Answers on a postcard please , but for the record my answers are yes, no , no 😩😩

Are you that person who put a fiver on a million to one shot that Elvis would play in the Wimbledon final against Lord Lucan who would come onto the court for the match riding Shergar?

I'd like to see a three man defence, Kizzi, Omar, and Goodliffe with Jackson and Hart as wing backs. Midfield Craig if fit (Harry if not) and Christian with O'Brien, Patrick and Smith. Bring back Jack in goal.
