Also, is pushing a defenders head down with your hand while heading at goal, allowed? as thats what Bradford's scorer did with their goal. (See images posted on another thread) It goes on in both boxes. I’m sure a Bradford fan would say Harry did something similar with his goal. Similar in terms of hands being used but pushing ones head down while both going for a header, has a more significant impact. If there is a time where hands cross the line then I would imagine that would be one of them.

Most importantly, we earned three points today. It didn't matter how we got them. With Forest Green and Colchester both winning, we desperately needed a win just to keep in touch with the clubs just above us. Thanks to Harry Beautyman's heroic late header, we got there. Had we not won today, a greater gap would’ve opened up to Forest Green who beat Crawley, Colchester managed to win on the road again yesterday too. Tranmere look a poor side (lost last 4 in the league) - has to be marked down as must-win on the 18th Nov. Grimsby parted company with Hurst after poor recent form. If we can string some results together through November I firmly believe we can pull ourselves out of this more come Christmas time.

There’s always some pushing in the box, always has been, but Smith was repeatedly held and wrestled to the ground before the ball even reached him. That’s not six of one, it’s bad refereeing. Not for the first time there was shirt pulling too but this, like holding, which we can be guilty of, seems to be ignored by referees nowadays.

Whilst technically a pen seems a joke it’s picked out when happening at the other end just about every corner.

Let’s face it. Yesterday’s referee was poor, particularly for a Championship referee.

I think he was probably worse than poor.

Belated well done to all re. this result. I was working all weekend and haven't even caught the highlights yet.
One swallow and that. But real progress, and about time we caught the rub of the green.
