Yes it had gone clean out my head too but would certainly welcome the refund (or a credit against a future purchase.

Perhaps someone from the club can provide more information on the refunds.

I have. I asked Pat Carr and she said she’d follow it up with the club, but in the meantime go to the iFollow link on our website and contact them. I did that. No hassle, got an email back informing me my £10 would be refunded within 14 days straight to my bank. I let Pat know and 3 days later £10 was refunded back into my bank account. Perfect! No hassle, no drama doing it, so get in touch with EFL iFollow via our web page and get your money back.

We were told it would automatically be refunded to our accounts. I had asked someone else at the club but hadn't heard anything back.

Agree with this, it's not for individual people to request this, some may have been upset by what happened but not even realise that they have a recourse. Those that queried it were told that the refund would be automatic, and that's what is should be!

I agree it said on the web site that a refund would be automatic, but when that didn’t happen I took the initative and asked about it. May I suggest you see Pat Carr, but having told you here what she told me, why not just do it and receive your £10 back.

You're still missing the point. I also took the initiative and emailed someone at the club about it on the 25th October but haven't had an answer about it yet.
Personally it isn't about the money, it is more the fact we were told it was going to be automatic and it hasn't been.
Other people affected won't necessarily read this board so won't see your solution to the issue or know Pat Carr to speak or email her.
The club should have followed up on it seeing as you and I have both spoken to two separate people at the club highlighting the fact we haven't had refunds, to ensure everyone affected got the issue resolved. Even if it was a news article saying we had to now contact iFollow directly ourselves.
I'm assuming this issue also affects any Crawley fans who bought a match day pass for the game and I doubt they will see your solution to the issue either. The onus is on our club to ensure the issue is resolved properly.

I have no concern about Crawley fans not seeing this forum, (why would they look here) hopefully those who needed a refund took some initative and contacted iFollow too. The club isn’t perfect, far from it and the few people that work there full time have lots to deal with and sometimes things fall through the net. I’m sure you’ll get an apology if you approach Tim Allison (do you know him?) but for heaven sake, the refunds obviously didn’t happen automatically and I’m sure someone somewhere has made a mistake and will try to resolve it for you , but we all get your point, thank you for your reply and take care. x

No I don't know Tim Allison and shouldn't need to approach him for an apology, the club should be approaching everyone who is still affected by this and apologising and sorting it out for them. It really is as simple as that.

I was told on the day of the game by the EFL department that deals with iFollow, and who are responsible for payments and refunds that refunds ought to happen automatically and they would let me know if that wasn't going to be the case. Not having heard anything to the contrary subsequently from either side, I just assumed this had happened and the first I knew that it hadn't was when I saw this thread yesterday. I will email the EFL to clarify the situation but in the mean time would suggest that anyone who hasn't yet had a refund emails ifollow@efl.com.
This also applies to anyone overseas who bought a pass for the Morecambe game where there were again issues.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
