Here goes. See if i can get my first double of the season. It would be fantastic if we could get two away wins on the bounce and we have won at Prenton Park before. Would it be greedy to expect 3 points or would 1 keep the momentum going.
I expect to see the same starting eleven as per Notts County barring injuries. Can't make this one myself but will keep a keen eye on flash scores!

Surprised if it will be the same starting XI. That’s not really Steve’s thing. I’ll take any starting XI and 3 points please.

We've got a respectable record at Prenton Park of two wins, two draws and just one defeat. It's still a big ask for us to get three points there tomorrow, but if we're going to have any chance of staying up then we need to follow up Tuesday's win with another one. It's 21st v 18th in the form table.

I'm not sure if I should drop my mantle of pessimism but if we do win there and if, perhaps, Grimsby and F.Green draw, and if Colchester lose then that would rather shift the perspective of things.
But that's a lot of 'ifs'.

Well, other results are very much a part of our fate now. So a draw could work if others lose. The way we play at the moment, I would always give us a shout of nicking a win, and we are still yet to get an underserved win this season. We seem to play a bit better when teams come at us and open the game up, I fancy maybe a win tomorrow is more likely than at home to Grimsby, who will be like many others in the same position, set up to be organized and not to lose while banking on us to give them a goal or two. If our players are not too tired from midweek and are alert, We will have a good go tomorrow.

Keep it going lads ! All the best to the team and the travelling supporters.I'm sure Tranmere used to play their home games on a Friday night but my memory is not what it was.

I think you’re right Billy, probably something to do with avoiding the other teams on Merseyside as, back in the day when everyone played on a Saturday, one or other would have been at home.

Yet again frustrating, with an even first half with not much in it, but second half we just did not keep the ball well enough making it too easy for them to go through us and also making Around have too much to do. A gain a goal from in side the box through a crowd off players, how many goals have we conceded like that. What ever happens this season our midfield and ball rotation needs to be a lot better and the other frustrating thing is that we did not make the keeper make enough saves . All we can do is move on to the next match and hope for better. I’m not having a go just saying it how it is, yes the players are trying a lot more since Steve has come in.⚽️⚽️⚽️

Arnold was excellent and kept us in it in the second half

Play the youngsters now, get them valuable experience for next season. I am not sure who is under contract next year but I think Omar is the only one under contract?
We have a very important rebuild ahead. No use being a shop window for players who will leave in the summer. Who knows, the youngsters might do a job.

Is playing youngsters, at a formative stage of their careers, in a team with a losing habit at a much higher level than they're used to, a sensible idea? I'll defer to the manager on that.

I thought Taylor seemed fine, so no reason a few of the others cant also do fine, and it is they who will likely will be playing roles next season. I imagine our defence wont be here next season... Goodliffe will move to another league club, as will the likes of Kizzi, Jackson and Hart. As we wont be able to splash out on replacements it makes sense to use some of the players knocking on the door, see how they fair and give them a great opertunity..

Honestly you haven't got a clue who will be with us next season . we lost today due to poor decision making in the final third. Many a time we put in an extra pass instead of shooting and shot instead of passing. Game could have gone either way.
