I am routing for Altrincham to go up. Be handy to have two more local games as well as a midlands trip to choose from instead of another up to Manchester! Though I am anticipating Barnet going up. As for NLS, I would quite like a nice away trip to down at Worthing, which is again not too far. So will back them. Though I imagine it will be Maidstone.

The Finals are now confirmed for all 3 National League Divisions:
Next Saturday: Brackley v Boston United
Next Sunday: Bromley v Solihull Moors (at Wembley)
Next Monday: Worthing v Braintree
Not too fussed who joins us out of the North - think I read Brackley have reached the play-offs last 7 seasons now - could they finally do it?
Like to see Worthing come up from the South.

Brackly more local to us so will back them.
Would Rather Bromley stay down as more local and less bragging rights if they leep frog us.
And Worthing is a bit closer than Braintree? M25 not needed...

When did we last play Worthing in a league game out of interest? I remember the Trophy ties a few seasons back.

Yep that was FA Trophy - Bugiel was playing for Worthing at the time, we snuck through 3-2 in a replay - was around the time of the Leeds cup tie.

We enjoyed a close title battle with them in the Isthmian League in 84/5, they had the prolific Micky Edmonds in attack then alongside a certain Mike Cornwell.

I remember seeing us play an Isthmian League game down there in ‘95 and we got turned over 5-2. It was a shocking performance. Worthing ended up bottom as well.

Who will we play now on Boxing Day? That may well depend on who wins the NLS play-off final tomorrow!

If Braintree win, it will probably be Ebbsfleet. If Worthing go up, it could be Maidenhead, Worthing or Eastleigh. The north part of the division sorts itself out nicely with the exception of Boston, but the southern half is much more up in the air, but regardless who goes up, looks likely to be FGR/Yeovil, Wealdstone/Barnet and Aldershot/Woking. Which leaves us, Southend, Ebbsfleet, Maidenhead, Eastleigh, D&R, whoever goes up, and the aforementioned Boston.
Thinking about it, Braintree v Boston could be one, meaning Southend v D&R - leaving Eastleigh, Maidenhead, Us and Ebbsfleet. In that scenario, it will be Ebbsfleet.
Throw Worthing into the ring, Ebbsfleet will play D&R/Southend, whilst the other of those could get Boston. Leaving Worthing, Us, Maidenhead and Eastleigh. Could go either way.
Whichever way it is, it won't be a potential money spinner - Ebbsfleet would probably be the one with the best atmosphere and the best attended.
I noted that next season there are 11 "north" sides and 13 "south" sides in the NL next season.

Looking as at Bromley and Solihull, I thought both looked better than us, going to be tough next year.
