4 Keepers - Rose, Arnold, Kerby & Sims 7 Defenders - Sowunmi, Goodliffe, Jackson, Taylor, Williams, Vaz & French. 5 Midfielders - Coley, De Silva, Odelusi, Harris & Sivi. 3 Forwards - Tume, Boateng & Rush. I think Boateng was brought in more as a winger... Fair enough, tbh it’s been hard to keep up with all the new lads! Updated version below. 😊 4 Keepers - Rose, Arnold, Kerby & Sims 7 Defenders - Sowunmi, Goodliffe, Jackson, Taylor, Williams, Vaz & French. 6 Midfielders - Coley, De Silva, Odelusi, Harris, Boateng & Sivi. 2 Forwards - Tume & Rush.

Prospectively think we need another right-back, left-back, 2 more centre-mids and another couple of strikers. Positive recruitment through June I’d say - not sure what Morison’s stance is on triallists - guess maybe a couple through pre-season schedule.

I am excited yet again by what appears to be another very good signing . There were times last season when we were so poor that I expected us to get relegated and then even drop out of the NL . Not any more ! I am not saying that we are going to romp away with this league but with the signings that we have made so far I fully expect us to be very competitive at the right end of the table , on paper at least .
My congratulations to the gaffer and the others in the background who are slowly piecing together what looks like a promising team for next season 😁😁

Morisons interview implies a couple more incoming which assuming we only have 3 goalkeepers in the end - we will have a squad of 21. My guess another forward and a LB replacement for Hart.

Lewis Simper signs for a fee from Cambridge. He played against us last year in the first round of the Carabao Cup
We're going to have one of the youngest squads in this league which seems a massive risk. This division is normally dominated by grizzeled old veterans with experience of this league.

Are the Goodliffes still involved? I wouldn't be surprised to see either Ben or Omar leave.

SM is putting together a wildcard side, it really could be anything, but it is very risky, especially with litterally no goals at this level in the team so far.

Whilst I don’t disagree we are running a risk (hopefully the manager proves to know exactly what he’s doing) I can’t think of a time in our history where we were able to bring in NL or above players with decent goals at this level or higher behind them? Clearly that’s not a market we can, or are prepared to, compete in (unless 1 or 2 up the sleeve). Most our NL goal scorers have come up with us or been new to the level. The nearest I can think of is Bugiel but he wasn’t wanted by FGR or Bromley so was hardly hot property at the time. Not sure going back to the 80’s as I was only young but think most of the squad went up with us (e.g. McKinnon) or we found (Ekoku). Can anyone think of someone?

I think it is more that Efan Ekoku found us.

I agree and just to add Bugiel wasn't exactly prolific with 7 and 5 goals in each of his NL seasons with us. I'd be amazed if one of Steve's signings doesn't exceed that.

Last season we bought a plethora of players with L2 experience, many of who were winners in the previous season.
How did that end up?
