Just a general question. How many left and or right backs have we got in the squad? Right-backs: Ryan Jackson; Edwin Agbaje (on loan until January from Ipswich); Tyler French has filled in at right-back in a couple of our league games; Jay Williams who appeared at right-back during pre-season is currently out on loan at Merthyr Town. Left-backs: Eduino Vaz; Charlie Waller (on loan until January from MK Dons) |

We were totally exposed on Saturday against FGR. It was down to poor marking not the lack of hight. Yeah, caught flat footed too much and second to the ball, while we do not have any giants in the squad, we have some hight in the team, at the back and in midfield. Not sure if it was credit to FG but it was the first time we looked a bit second best at the back for me and a bit of ball watching, too easy, but its going to happen.... |

As mentioned somewhere on Twitter yesterday the addition of Alex Kirk to our back line really gives us some great defensive options and depth going forwards as we compete on multiple fronts.
French
Ransom
Kirk
Okoli
Muller
Waller
Vaz
Jackson
Agbaje
Eccleston
(with Williams out on loan).

I see Dartford has released Matt Kerby along with a few other players. Evidently unable to offer him first team football, presume he comes back to our fold .

I notice from twits on X that Hayden Muller is nearing fitness, but they do not mention anything about our more experienced defenders, Ransom and Jackson, I take this to infer neither player is any where near close to returning to fitness. I wish each well. Kerby has returned to our "bull pen" of goalkeepers while Taylor will stay with Hampton for the remainder of the season

From the head coaches Oldham match preview, it is clear Ransom is fit to be selected. Muller not ready though.
