A good pre-season start, although these games mean very little in terms of competitiveness. What I do still find odd, is after seeing what players have come in so far, I find it strange that both N'Guessan and Deon Moore were both let go. Their ages fit into what Steve is doing, and they are both came from similar stock to what we have brought in, only already settled here and gained good experience last season. Particularly with Deon as he was Steve's own signing. Unless both players indicated they were planning on moving on, its a bit of a head-scratcher. Maybe Steve thought he could get better post season end. |

I don't think N'guessan will be missed. He's just signed for Aldershot I believe.

I think its Dagenham & Redbridge.
He was decent I thought, considering how he was rushed in because of our injuries, kind of thrown in the deep end in a struggling side.
I guess we can just presume that Steve thought he could get what he felt was better.
N'Guessan came from Ebbsfleet who coasted the Nat south and he was in Nat south team of the year.

Have you considered the fact that the reason the trialist wasn't named was because SM didn't want the world and his wife knowing we were looking at him?
It's a major reason why so many clubs list trialist a etc rather than naming them.3
I know a few other Sutton fans had worked out through one way or another who he was but none have deemed it necessary to name him on here.

Steve Morison said he doesn't mind out of contract players being named and told Tony D and the media team that he could be identified on commentary and on press releases- I was standing right next to him when he said it - so your admonishment is not justified. |
