New signing to be announced Monday per Steve interview. What position do we think? Left back competition? Cover for Dillon (loan?)? Anything else needed? I would guess either another striker or left or right back.. And I would guess wrong! Finley Barbrook, Defensive Midfield/Centre Back. Was not expecting that. |

You beat me to it Paz! Ipswich young player of the year last season and joined up with their first team squad in pre-season on tour.
Steve says he’s been after him all summer.
Loan signings up to 3 now with Waller, Nadesan and now Barbrook.

Sounds and looks a good signing.

Thinking of it, Steve played 3 central midfielders on Saturday which he will probably do a lot this season. So on that basis then perhaps another midfielder is a smart move. And I imagine Ipswich's academy is not too shabby.
