Hopefully the ground will get a tidy up before the game and if the marketing team get this right advertising/repairs to the rec side covered terracing. Car park tarmac repairs in exchange for advertising space and the boarding gaps around the fence filled in with new advertisers. Possibly long awaited border advertising around the score board.

Friday 1 November 2024 Tamworth v Huddersfield Town at 7.45pm on BBC Two Saturday 2 November 2024 Northampton Town v Kettering Town at 5.30pm on BBC Two Sunday 3 November 2024 Sutton United v Birmingham City at 12.30pm on ITV1 Harrogate Town v Wrexham at 3.30pm on ITVX Monday 4 November 2024 Chesham United v Lincoln City at 7.15 on ITV4 Worth noting that our game is on the channel that gets the most viewers out of all the above. I think we can say that the TV companies reckon our game is the most attractive tie of the round.

The car park was repaired last week Well that’s one off the list! Hi Halftimet, since the Yeovil match, there has been much going on within the Stadium footprint but to answer some of your points - Hopefully the ground will get a tidy up … the ground was tidied up over the past fortnight ahead of the Palace Women match last weekend, LBS visited today and remarked on the vast improvement of the tidiness of the ground (thanks to those supporters and Academy personnel that helped)
- Advertising/repairs to the rec side covered terracing … the new TV Gantry is now in place and operational; Palace contractors/electricians have been fitting it out plus cladding it over the last three days so it is ready for our fixture on Saturday
- Car Park Tarmac - the proverbial ball was in Network Rail's court since the works to repair the landslip in the Spring and we had protracted conversations with them for at least four months, and as Dave F said earlier they finally sent contractors last week to repair the damaged car park surfacing and also they re-marked all the painted lines within the car park
Within the stadium, there is new information signage that has been installed which benefits both our own fans as well as those fans attending Crystal Palace fixtures which will be evident for those using the Collingwood Stand and Fan Zones on Saturday - further additional signage is potentially in the pipeline as well. There has been further discussions taking place internally behind the scenes since the FA Cup draw on Monday and you should see further changes to the appearance within the stadium footprint between now and the Birmingham City match on 3rd November

Thanks for that interesting update. One thing that bothers me a bit when I walk through Collingwood Park a few times a week is the absolute mess of graffiti on the park side fencing. It looks appalling and I get that if you painted it over it would likely eventually get done again but surely it could be tidied up a bit, it's not very welcoming to the visitors and home fans alike.

Would be really nice for home supporters to be able to use the park side covered terracing.

Why’s that?

Because you get the best all round view from the sides of the pitch and its sheltered from the elements.

So are the 2 areas behind the goal, which are now used for home fans.

So are the 2 areas behind the goal, which are now used for home fans. Fine if you want to stand behind the goal. Not everybody does. The club stated that the parkside terrace would re open for home supporters for most of the season unless away demand was such that it was required. A bit like the Tardis terrace last season.

I too would so like to be back on the Parkside terrace. I stood over there for 9 seasons. It does give a very good view of both ends. Also there are some of my former Parkside regular conversation pals that I have still not spoken to / laid eyes on this season since I have moved to the other side of the ground.

I wouldn’t expect to be there anytime soon, especially against Birmingham

So are the 2 areas behind the goal, which are now used for home fans. They definitely aren't! I'd much rather get back to the parkside on the halfway line.

I seem to remember utilita banners in the main stand but obviously only interested in sponsoring us for one match. So grabbing deals where we can is important. Today’s news used to be tomorrow’s fish and chip wrapper!
