As the competition has started, and we come in earlier than we have in the last 3 years, just a few observations.
Looks like there are already a few old foes we won't be playing, including Dorchester, Basingstoke, Whitehawk, Harrow Borough, Grays and best of all, Kingstonian.
Some interesting 2nd q ties include Worthing v Havant, Horsham v Dorking, Dartford v Dulwich/Leatherhead and Carshalton v South Park, the latter of whom beat SCR.

We're now at the 3rd qualifying stage, and in the last round we lost familiar sides like Bognor, Hemel Hempstead (currently top of the NLS), Aveley, Welling, Hampton & Richmond, Farnborough, Truro, Leatherhead and Havant.
As the 4th qualifying round is still regionalised, some of the clubs still left in include Weston, Carshalton, Borehan Wood, Dartford, Weymouth, Salisbury, Bath, Worthing and Dartford.

When is the draw for the round that we enter? That'll be Monday 30th September - the third qualifying round is scheduled for the weeekend of the 28th September. |

Locally Carshalton edged out South Park to set up a home time against Melksham T or Banbury U, Merstham lost narrowly to Tonbridge, Horsham beat Dorking Wanderers for the second season running. Dos' Sholing lost heavily at home to Weymouth. |

FA Cup 4th Qualifying round draw is tomorrow afternoon at 3pm live on TalkSport with regionalisation in force North and South.
A few teams who have upset us in the past won through qualifying yesterday (Boreham Wood, Slough and Bishops Stortford), our near neighbours Carshalton are in the hat after a last gasp winner plus Gorleston who produced one of the shocks of the round dumping out a struggling St Albans.
A home draw probably the order of the day but we shouldn’t really fear anyone.

Purely based on League positions we are ranked 8th of the 64 teams competing in the 4th qualifying round and 4th in the southern section.
