Nothing Wrong with Mr Brunsons efforts though he must have been disappointed that so few seats in the yellow seats he had paid for were occupied at kick off and that the stand only filled up so very slowly to short of 50% with the section next to the tardis empty , better in the second half when regular fans moved in Sitting in side 1 of the mainstand the row infront of my seat also set aside remained empty throughout first half. Usually it is fairly full.
The only celebrity I recognised was Tim Vine but I have no interest in reality programes because few seem real and rarely entertain.
I did not get any impression of the celebrities adding to the general atmosphere by adding to or joining the singing.

I saw the two guys from Ch4 Sunday Brunch, Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer and possibly Joe Wicks. Mr Brunson did a walk round the ground with a body guard and a cameraman. Personally I don't have a problem with him he's not bigger than the team and I just believe he genuinely wants to help push the 'brand' he clearly is infatuated with SUFC so good on him.

great win today despite making hard work of it. Vaz and Harris appear to be the pick of our signings from what I've seen so far this season.Arnold made a couple of great saves but it's heart in mouth stuff whenever the ball is passed back to him.. excellent turnout from the fans, let's hope for a similar turnout on Tuesday night!

Three weeks ago we narrowly lost at home to the side now 2nd in the National League table. Today at home we narrowly beat the side who are bottom of that table. This may be evidence that there's not a great deal of difference between top and bottom. Consistency is the key to success, and we haven't found that yet.
It didn't help today that both of our right backs were unfit, so the academy player Junior Eccleston started. He got booked for a challenge that was over-enthusiastic rather than malicious, but Steve took him off at half-time. The change of shape at the back may have contributed to Ebbsfleet's first goal. That rocked us, and they duly scored another. We then re-asserted ourselves, and Nadesan snatched the winner. A terrible, penalty-area error in stoppage time by Okoli could easily have gifted them a decisive equaliser, but Steve Arnold stood tall.
There are goals in this Sutton side at both ends. If we want to go up, the balance needs to shift.

I have just been on the Ebbsfleet forum. What a miserable lot. It seem we treated them disgracefully today.

Get rid of him and bring in Bill Nighy, Bradley from SClub7, and John Major (if still alive)

I have just been on the Ebbsfleet forum. What a miserable lot. It seem we treated them disgracefully today. There are 1 or 2 of our fans who like to fuss. I think every club has those fans. At the moment, with our team being bottom of the table & conceding goals for fun, the negativity is increased as well. The entry prices at your stadium are high - & to be asked for £4 for a programme today was ridiculous ( presumably that price as it was a double programme for today & Tuesday - which is fine for home fans as it saves them £2, but means the away fans pay £1 more than usual (assuming the programme is usually £3)). Even one of your officials acknowledged how high prices are. And it's not ideal that the seats for away fans are in the middle of the home fans. But my daughter & I were treated perfectly ok on entry and don't have any complaints other than the result! Like you, our regular right back is injured at present. You took full advantage of that for your 2nd & 3rd goals. We probably deserved a draw today, but if we gift you the goals we did, you don't generally get what you deserve. If today was your level, then I can't see you being strong enough to challenge for promotion again Also find it strange someone talks of our "physical approach" when you had 4 yellows against our 2! Good luck, however, for the rest of the season, other than when you visit us in 2025!

Also it looks like the commentary position above the Collingwood Park terrace is getting an upgrade.

Three well taken goals won us that game, but we cant rely on scoring three well taken goals every week. Their first was another weak goal to concede, while their second was a wonder finish, again, all be it having the ball headed out to him on a plate. A draw would not have been unfair today but over all think we just about shaded it.
Under current form we should secure a 55 point total quite comfortably and get that out of the way. If we can just cut out conceding some preventable goals, then we can perhaps start thinking of pushing up that table.

I wasn't going to comment re Paul Brunson but just an observation that yesterday's attendance was by some margin the highest of the season and only Hartlepool and Oldham had larger crowds in the NL.

Yesterday's attendance may officially have been the highest of the season, but I strongly suspect that there were more people in the ground for the York City game.
