Cheers everyone.
Blueboy2, yeah sure if you want to use one of the pics for your newsletter feel free.
Have to say I was very relieved that we came back to win, mainly because I'd taken photos of Westy and Dossie with the cup and at one point thought I might have cursed the result. *phew*

Good pics again Paul. Especially the ones of Westy's equaliser. Thought we played well, but we really did look like we were going out as we just couldn't seem to break them down. But we kept going and in the end, got our rewards. Have to agree with KBB. Thought Ware just sat deeper and deeper as the second half wore on and paid for it in the end. Still, into the next round. Forgotten what it was like to win FA Cup games!

very true, as we set out this season with the main task of promotion, we didnt really want any cup run. but then again when it comes around you cant really turn down some money and bigger crowds in this competition. i dont think you would of seen many of us there on tuesday if it went to a replay, what was your journey to ours like traffic and time wise? btw the person whose wallet is missing we will be on the lookout, and i think most people that were there would definatly hand it in. hope you find it. The journey was excellent, thanks! It was my purse that went missing (thanks for the kind words), and I just logged onto this forum because I suddenly realised that I'd posted on the Ware forum asking if anyone had seen it, and COMPLETELY FORGOT to post anything on here (d'oh)!!! Going to do a cut and paste job from the Ware one. I last saw it when I went to the tea bar at the end of the first half, and found it missing when I went to buy a drink straight after the game (thanks again to the bar staff for helping me out). It apparently hasn't been seen in the bar, at the tea bar or in the loos. It's hard to know how it could have happened as it was in my bag, which was zipped up. I'm not for one moment suggesting that it must have been stolen by one of you lot, but I'm exploring every possible avenue, so if any of you saw anything suspicious like possible pickpocket action or a bloke using a ladies' purse, PLEASE could you let me know ASAP by email or on this thread. The purse is black, rectangular and very worn out with the fastener missing (at least I have an excuse to get a new one now). The only reason I'm going to such lengths to get the darned thing back, by the way, is that I'm currently out of a job as my employers wouldn't extend my contract! That purse literally contains all the money I own. It also contains ID documents I need in order to claim benefits. They won't give them to me without the ID, so if I don't get them back I won't have anywhere to live next month (Don't worry, I'm still smiling! ). I can't replace the ID documents, as they require fees to replace, and I no longer have any money. It just never ends, does it?! (It's OK, I'm STILL smiling; I'm that kind of person) So. If anyone knows who has my purse, please pass on the following: 1) Yes, there is a small amount of money in there. Please feel free to take out enough to pay for a drink for yourself, and postage to send it back to me. In fact, I insist. 2) My address is on my provisional driving licence, inside the purse. If you send it back to me, I'll be most grateful for the trouble taken to do so. 3) I understand if you want the cash. If you're desperate, take it. But PLEASE send the purse back to me. That is more important than any money at the moment. If a Sutton fan helpfully picked it up, discovered it was mine and intends to give it back to me on Tuesday, that would be excellent!

A word of appreciation to the Ware goalkeeper. I take it was Richard Hayward as printed in the programme. Not only did he return one of our lost sheep at half-time, he also rather sportingly said "Good luck, lads" to us fans behind the goal at the end of the game. With him no doubt 'gutted' to lose after holding out for so long, it was nice to hear some fair comments from the opposition. His No. 5 could learn some lessons. When are officials going to do something about players swearing at supporters? It happened at Fisher last season but this twit was bang out of order. If there had been a steward or police officer on duty I may have been minded to report him. Nice to see that we gave Ware their best home crowd this season by a long way (more than double). I've said it before, there are many a Blue Square South team ruing our demise and the absence of our regular travelling support - welcome back Taz!

It was Richard Hayward in goal. I was not aware of Laurie Stewart's swearing as I'm always up at the other end. It's a pity, as I thought he and Hayward were equal MoM for Ware.

As soon as Westy's goal went it, we were never going to lose. No disrespect to Ware, they provided a better challenge that Billericay did in the last round, and will certainly be in a play off position this season - you never know we could be back there in a league game next year. But with the lion's share of possession and attempts on goal, 2-1 was probably the correct score for that game.
Another good thing to Ware, they did well to create a nice cup atmosphere, although I'm still concerned about the sheep..
Please godfather of football, not Crawley away in the next round...

If we do get to play Ware next season in the league (a distinct possibility!) I shall definitely be returning to the Crooked Billet pub. Some great beer and good pre-match banter from the locals. It was so good I couldn't resist going back after the match. But next time I might check out the short cut across the fields.

I think AndyK summed the game up well it was the sort of game that if we scored the momentum was such that there was only going to be one winner. But we deserved to win on persistence and chances although Ware came pretty damn close to holding us out, had they of done so then they would of deserved the win.
I am surprised no one else has raised the penalty instances 2 of which looked blatantly obvious to me?
