another win! Although one very close effort at the end almost equalized for them.

And Tonbridge blew a 2 goal lead to draw with Maidstone, probably the best result for us.

Two cracking goals from Jon Munday and Billy Dunn, both from superb McCallum crosses. It was another hard-fought win and we're still not firing on all cylinders yet after the two-week break, but you can't ask for much more than picking up 6 points in a week!
Fingers crossed that Billy's injury isn't as bad as it looked following a shocker of a challenge from their 4

Another jekyll and hyde performance first half we were rarely in it and I thought 1-1 flattered us but second half with the introduction of Billy we should of finished the game in the comfort zone. The tactics PD is employing seem to be working a treat and the effort shown by the players is first rate, these results are not luck you earn your luck and that is exactly what we are doing.
The challenge on Billy was very cynical and just why neither of the officials spotted anything wrong with the tackle is beyond me?
Billy was moving his legs and complaining as he came off so hopefully its not too serious, fingers crossed. Billy looked on fire before that!

It was a shocker of a challange, and i really couldn't believe that the officials thought it was a 50/50 ball! I hope its not serious, and ask for any news to be posted ASAP
Another average performance in my eyes again, but Horsham didnt look a bad side. Were picking up maximum points at the moment, and not really playing amazing stuff. Onwards and upwards!

As I was going to do the motm photo I asked Doswell and he said Billy has a gash on his shin.

I thought Horsham looked quite a useful side, much better than Margate did on Tuesday, but then again we played better that we did onTuesday. Hughes controlled the midfield and was a well deserved MoM, although overall it must have been quite a hard choice for the Aleman. Overall I got the feeling we were never going to lose today, but credit to Horsham who came and played football in the first half, but then got a little cynical around the same time that the ref decided to lose control - the challenge on Billy was appalling and how it went unpunished was beyond me.
But that makes 5 wins out of 5, 6 in 7, only lost 3 league games since the start of October. The next two games are a bigger test - Canvey away where we get a chance to put one of our rivals out of a serious play off challenge, and then a tricky away trip to Borehamwood who sadly didnt do us a favour against the bobbins today. If we win both of those, then we are team to beat.

The challenge on Billy may have looked worse from behind the goal than it did from side-on. Defender took the ball which had been pushed just a little too far ahead but may have been guilty of excessive force. A minor gash only and a numb leg that got better soon after Billy wsa back in the changing room. Lucky !
What happened when the keeper appeared to strike Munday ?
