Nice comments for Lyall, also. Well done Ed! goatzoneforum.yuku.com/topic/2468/t/Sutton-Programme.html"I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I thought their programme was first class.
I Read it on the train back to Bognor and it was well up to date, and a great read for neutrals, Sutton fans and Horsham fans alike. Seanla mentioned in our squad, and page 5, the article from the editor was very poinient (sp?) in the world of football and not just the Ryman League. Well Done Sutton! Quite Easily the best programme I've bought all season.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for a fantastic day out, despite the loss. I Had a fantastic day and am loving every minute of following the mighty HFC. All a great bunch of people who's there for the fun, not just the result! (although it'd be nice! LoL) Also great to chat with the general whom I've heard so much about, especially after we didn't really get to talk at Stevenage. Button Button Button anyone?
Anyway, Cheers All!! Much Love. Sing if your glad to be gay.... "

I had not been for a while - what is the story with Billy? 1. Is he a youth product 2. Why didn't he start? He seems destined for higher class football Yes he's from the youth team and is still eligible for the youths. He made his first appearance for the first team towards the end of last season under Ernie Howe. Dos is edging him in slowly. I don't think there's any doubt that he's destined for greater things in the long-run, but he's still learning and is just being used as an impact player at the moment

What exactly is an impact player ? I've only been watching (and playing) Football for 50 odd years and have only just heard this jargon/bollocks speak since the Carshalton away game when someone mentioned it to me in The Railway after the game while discussing Dunn.
If he (Dunn) were for example to start a game and score two goals in the first ten minutes would that not count as making an impact ?

Pah!! Not guilty.....I was on the halfway line today. With the women and the moaners eh? No, we ladies were behind the goal (but not with the fat gits). I'll ignore the middle-aged accusation just this once Won't be long before you are there though, the clock is ticking.... I believe his birthday is tomorrow; have you sent a card yet?

Fat gits? I was under the impression that you couldn't throw at pie at GGL without someone (Jared I would be willing to wager) saying "Have you finished with that then?"
Gareth's card is in the post of course.

Pretty good highlights, referee's positioning looked a little poor on occasions which doesn't help his decision making by any stretch.
