I want to mention the Hornchurch fans. I spoke to many and found them some of the nicest away fans we have had for a while. Loved the costumes. It will feel like a long journey back tonight but apart from the result hope they have had a good day. Ergh no before the match the abuse shown to me outside the pub was awful. No, thats just the effect the Plough has on people

I think you'll find, Greek, that if PN doesn't have a great game on Tuesday we'll, er, lose the match. So only if PN has a "great game" can we win? Again AA I'm sorry but you are wrong. Stop trying to pile the presure on one player.

AA & NTG - I know neither of you, and with the greatest of respect, can we have this convo in PM's or off season please?

Awesome, Awesome, Awsome! Just returned from work via the pub and I'm as pis>>>>, Drunk as a Lord. This afternoon was the epitome of how NOT to follow a football match - despite viewing five simultaneous websites (and if I get the tin-tack I don't care) it was four minutes past five before all was confirmed (thanks Dan). One in the eye for that utter arse UU and the even bigger pratt calling himself Glasgowrobin who posted towards the end of the Ryman Tickertape 'Bad luck Sutton' - you just made the final news even better. If Barrie Williams is my God then surely Paul is the Holy Ghost (and Speellcheckir is my Angle of Mercy) I love you, I love you, I love you all !!!

Yeah, 'cos they were so charitable at HX when Paul Nicholls had to go off after that assault by Mr Shave. Bollocks to 'em.
It was pay back time today & tbh, all their fans should be moaning about is the ridiculous hand ball by their no 7 (I think) Curley, who should have been sent off for a disgracful cjhalenge on Gav late in the game.
What a great way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the club's AIT victory. A very tough cookie to follow now, but objective for the season met.
As for UU, well, no doubt he made his assumption from his back garden in Essex. Even if you were looking through one of his pains of glass it was a penalty.
Well done to Do and the lads, smile back on the face of SUFC, whatever happens on Tuesday night.

Well, as an almost neutral, I have to say it was a poor game. Thought you guys deserved the win though and I was very disappointed with Hx who didn't show any fight at all. What a pity that the arsehole UU wasn't there. Can't agree about Hx fans being OK, even I was offended by them and I hate you lot! It was deffo a pen, what on earth possessed the geezer to handball it? Hope you all have brown trousers for the midweek game and see you all at Colston Avenue next Saturday.

Haha. I still gave them a friendly wave though. Were you the guy who was dropped off at about 2:35pm right outside the pub? If not then I saw a Sutton fan give Bananaman, Captain America and all their mates the correct response of a wave and a big smile. Well played, sir! To be fair, most non-Urchins were getting pelters.

I feel an apology is in order as the bloke who obscures both the aftermath of the handball decision and then the penalty itself is non other than me!

Fox - PM me with your address and the cheque will be in the post. Today - well done everyone involved with Sutton United Football Club. Let's have a few hours bein smug - we deserve it - and then start concentrating on the week ahead. Oh - and Karl Williams - well......what can you say, especially after your comments this time last week? Apart from lots of four-letter words of course, but then you must be used to them from the people you owe monies to. xx

I too was subjected to foul abuse as I approached the ground. Totally uncalled for ! After the game, they were fine though. Suppose we've seen both sides of their support.

Anyway, on to our greatest season since finishing second to qualify for the Conference South (perhaps even better than that . Everything I had to say has been said by others, so I'll add my thanks to everyone involved in the club for an absolutely fantastic effort this season!!! This is my first play-off and I can't really describe how I'm feeling right now. All I know is that going to Staines has never seemed so appealing. Performance matters not now, this is a cup competition now and it's all down to effort, commitment and fighting spirit. Staines are the best footballing side I've seen this season and it will take a supreme effort the take them out, but I believe PD and the lads can do it. COME ON YOU U's !!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the result we deserved in the end. Hx came set up for a point and nothing more, which made the goal we conceeded even more annoying. Well done to Dos & all the lads on this season. We got there eventually! Only 2 more cup finals to go now. Investigations are ongoing as to how I got home last night after celebrating & watching Dirty DC in the Boom Boom. Paul & Kelly are my prime suspects at this point. ;D
